Just wondering what peoples experiences are with the performance of each track? I have the Xbox X and it seems the best performing track is West Sommerset. Is that because the locos on WSR have limited top speeds?

I have noticed slowdown on some of the routes on the one x. Downloaded new routes last night but not tried yet.

From a Ps4 perspective Ruhr Seig Nord is pretty smooth withlots going on too. Hoping dtg might revisit GWE on consoles and give us the extra hst mk3s or add freight stock in sidings aling the route. Or fill Stations with more passengers.

RSN is running at around 40fps on my One X. I´m not noticing many drops there, so its overall pretty smooth.

In my experience, as general, the parameters that slow down the Fps are 3: -number of tracks, -number of objects/shapes along the route, -train speed.

I notice the only time my frame rate drops is when passing another train, makes sense this as the locos are the most resource intensive aspect of the game

They must be finding extra power from somewhere. Anyone that has MSB will know from the AI activity. We have definately made strides since GWE.

I think unless you wsnt to play West Somerset style DLCs, slow linespeed, sparce AI. On console I think we will have to accept the odd framerate drop. For this generation anyway. I dont have LIRR. I do have every other DLC release on console. Id say the most stutter Ive had is on NTP. MSB is far busier, has overhead wires and longer trains.

If you do. Learn PZB, SIFA and make use of the AFB function. I didnt appreciate RSN until I mastered these features on MSB. Now along with MSB its the only one ive been driving lately.

Aknowledge all speed limits, warnings and adverse signals, within 4 seconds of passing them. If you pass a yellow/green or yellow, prepare to slow down to 45kph. Obv theres a bit more to it than that, but it should get you going. 3 weeks ago I never thought Id figure out PZB. Ive now just done the heavy metal scenario without the hud. Matt Peddlesdens recent streams on youtube should help also.

Turn the systems off you can. I know I do that with GWE get a hst going hit the 125 stretch then make a brew.
