I love that I’m able to play Catan online again, so thank you for this. When my daughter was born I used to spend hours holding her while playing the 360 version. I’m sorry if it’s tiring to keep hearing about that game, but it had some features that I’d love to see again. Many have been talked about (turn timer, turn alert, dice roll distribution chart, emotes/quick chat). There are a few that I haven’t seen mentioned. Most important, I think, is a [?] card on the trade screen. That makes it possible to say “I’ll give you wheat for anything “ or “what do I need to give you to get that brick”? It made trading a lot easier. The counter option in this new version takes too long and is rarely accepted. Second, I’d love a turn log again. I think it used to be something like this: Player 1 [5]. P1 collected 2 ore. P2 collected 1 sheep. P3 collected 1 ore. P1 traded with P4. Road laid. Turn ended. Player 2 [7] P2 moved robber and stole from P4. P2 used Year of Plenty. Turn ended. I don’t know what all information needs to be on it. At least number rolled would be grand. Anything else is a bonus. I know it’s necessary to pay attention and a log might take away from the aspect of trying to keep track of what resource cards are in play. However, I recall it being helpful. Finally, and I’m not sure how to judge this, but there should be a limit on lopsided trades. I played a pair the other night that was obviously in cahoots. They never robbed one another even though one had a five point lead over second place. They also only made uneven trades with each other. One widely available resource for 4-5 cards? Done. It made the game a farce. Thank you for bringing Catan back, and for the quick update schedule. I bought the digital deluxe version before release, and have only regretted it when I’m falling asleep waiting for opponents to take a turn.
