I'm having this issue with the steam railtour pack as well, not just on this scenario, but timetable mode as well, I'm on Xbox Series X.
Same, I did 2 scenarios and failed for both with the same error message. I thought it was reserved for SoS but definitely not
This is the reason why i didnt even touch this DLC because it was bound to fail Steam has way to many issues and will as always take up to a year to fix Just like most DLC's u dont see the true route or loco shine until a year later
Hey, really sorry about that & will have a look at that! Is this happening to you only on the "Relieving History" scenario? And what was the issue with SoS?
Hi sequencer2k16 , If you are using manual firing, could you try it again with automatic firing and see if that helps, please?
Hi DTG-Chris and Jasper_Rivet, I have redone 1 scenario and 1 service with "automatic firing" and I have no more scenario or service errors. Thanks for the workaround while waiting for a patch.
When on Manual Firing you need to add coal to the fire - the "service failure" is the firebox running out of coal. While on Manual Firing, manually open the firebox door periodically to let some coal go in. It's not ideal, there's no visual indicator for it and the error is obviously bogus - but that's what's going on here. I'd suggest unless you specifically want to control the damper and blower, stick to automatic.

Came across this issue yesterday, Changed to Automatic firing , made sure fire door was open and it still gave a service failure. PS5
