I have really been enjoying Catan since its release. My wife and I have been playing every night. One thing we both think would be nice is if the dice was sped up just a couple seconds between when you roll and when it reveals what you rolled. I also wish the Ai players had levels of difficulty settings. We are either really good at this game or the Ai is very bad. Most games we finish, the Ai only has like 3-4 points. Also, what unlocks different characters and frames? I’m really crossing my fingers that you will have DLC of the expansions of Catan. I will totally throw you more money to have them on this game. overall, you did a great job!
Thanks very much for your feedback! Noted on the dice rolls. The AI, rather than having 'difficulty' all play in slightly different ways (some will hoard resources, some will be aggressive in trading, etc.) - but it sounds like you've managed to get them nailed! I'll share the feedback with the team. The different hex skins were a pre-order incentive, so not available currently unless you pre-ordered the game - we are looking at a way we might be able to bring them onto the Store though at a later date. We'll share more details about future plans in the coming weeks, after we're over the initial launch window.
I preordered the game and content remains locked why is this , suerly i should have access to the content as i can see it but remains behind a padlock?
You can access the challenges via the profile section of the menu, you need to be logged into Dovetail Live to see them
Whaat? For real? That really really shouldn't be a requirement to actually have to login to a different service in order to display the requirements of a challenge on a full price game! This is an insane design decision.
Yeah; this is ridiculous. I love Catan, but I’m starting to regret the preorder. There are so many missing features and goofy choices. Edit: I went to the game and tried to log in. 403 error, and there’s no way to back out of this screen. I had to force quit the game and restart. Smh.
