He's referring to the cab car. The VVRR commissioned their own lightweight S-Bahn coaches in the late 1970s , classed ABx 791, Bx 794 with Bxf 796 cab cars. These were pulled by BR 111s and were painted pale gray and orange. None of these are in the game. However, the VVRR has never run any trains on the Linke Rheinstrecke (much less the Niddertalbahn)- and those are the only two routes that date from the x-Wagen era (they were retired in 2008)
Retirement started in 2008. The S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr retired them in 2019, while the S-Bahn Nürnberg used them in regular service until December 2020 and even then they still occasionally used them for additional peak-hour services as late as summer 2022.
