Two other MARTA Rail Lines forums were created back in 2021 and 2022, so I'll like to continue the MARTA Rail suggestions.

    Well, What is it?
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is the rapid transit system of United States city Atlanta, located in the state of Georgia, serving the Atlanta metropolitan area. The maximum speed of the rail system is 70 MPH (110 KM/H). The most known rail line in the MARTA Rail System is the Red & Gold Heavy Rail Lines, which are the two rail lines that this suggestion is about.

    Red Line
The Red Rail Line runs above ground, at-grade and below ground in various portions of its route. It begins at the northern terminus, North Springs station in Sandy Springs, GA. It then goes southward paralleling Georgia State Route 400, before turning southeast to Dunwoody, then turning south to cross over Interstate 285, then west before running south in the Georgia State Route 400 median. In Buckhead, it crosses under the Gold Rail Line before joining the North-South Mainline, going southwest paralleling I-85. It turns south through Midtown and enters downtown Atlanta, where it meets the Blue and Green Lines at Five Points station. Leaving downtown, the Red Line continues south, paralleling existing freight tracks towards East Point and College Park before reaching its terminus at the Hartsfield Jackson Int Airport station. The line is approximately 21 miles, has 19 stops in total, and an average trip on the line is 45 - 50 minutes.

    Gold Line
The Gold Rail Line runs above ground, at-grade and below ground in various portions of its route. It begins at the northeastern terminus, Doraville station in Doraville. It then goes southwestward paralleling roads. Upon entering Atlanta in Buckhead, it crosses over the Red Line in the median of Georgia State Route 400 before joining the Red Line. The Line is approximately 20 miles, has 18 stops in total, and an average trip on the line is 43 - 46 minutes.

    Rail Yards
For the Red & Gold Rail Lines, there are two different rail yards, one by the Airport in College Park, GA called the South Yard, and another rail yard not far south from the Lindbergh Center Transit Station called Armour Yard, the most recent constructed rail yard built in 2005.

    Rolling Stock:
Note that MARTAs CQ310/11s are being overhauled, most of the rolling stock looks like the CQ311 picture provided below.

    1979 Société Franco-Belge CQ310, numbered 101-200, 94 still remains in service.

1984 Hitachi CQ311, number 201-320, 118 still remains in service.

    2001 AnsaldoBreda CQ312, numbered 601-664 & 667-702, 100 still remains in service.

2023 Stadler Rail CQ400, this is MARTAs new rolling stock that is expected to slowly enter service in 2023, replacing all of the current rolling stock by 2026.

Why Add MARTA to Train Sim World 3?
It'll give players the opportunity to explore, operate, and seek the first subway system in the south (U.S). Allowing players to operate at 70 MPH speeds, operate subway rolling stock that features many operating modes, make announcements, and much more! MARTA Rail is considered underrated, but if its ever included in a train simulator such as Train Sim World 3, and can bring more attention and interest to MARTA itself. There are more reasons I'm sure other people would have about the addition of the MARTA Red & Gold Lines in TSW 3, but those are the main ones I'm pointing out.

As someone who lives in Atlanta and rides MARTA all the time, I would love to see the MARTA rail system in Train Sim World 3, or any other train simulator game.

I say, why not include the rest at that point? The Blue Line is only 15 miles and the Green Line is negligibly small.
