I don't usually post on forums as I don't want to make myself look stupid. Anyways im just looking for a wee bit of advice from the community. I seem to have a mod that makes the headlights of my train so much brighter like they should be irl.

But the only downside is no one has paid the electricity bill for the stations. Cost of living must have hit TFL hard this year lol. Its been a happy accident that i stumbled across this and i can't seem to find what mod it is or if it needs updating so the stations can get light again with how bright they are i think my unit is taken all the power from the grid lol.

I was wondering if anyone else has come across this and could maybe help I've taken all mods out and it works like normal again i have even tried just take out my BKL mods and running it but nope still nice bright lights and no station lights. Strange one i have here.

Anyways sorry for long rant this is why i don't post on forums i apologize in advance for your eyes and brain having to read this.

    Many thanks John

You say you have all mods out, but it looks like you are using the TOD4 mod which implements the new sky system in all the older routes, which typically leads to this what is happening on your screenshots on Bakerloo and also Rapid Transit underground stations.

These photos are with all mods in except for any BKL specific ones. When i take all mods out it works fine i didn't bother with screenshots for them. I dont use the time of day ones as i didnt like the effect it had on other routes. Im at a loss what it could be. I really like it like that if only the lights worked inside. Thank you for replying

It works fine when there is no mods installed but i have got a modified INI as well but it runs okay without the mods. I wonder though if that is playing havok with a mod on the line wonder if i go back to basic if it works. Will try it out when back at home and let you know. Thanks again for trying to help.

Update have found out what was causing this was a rouge mod that was in my mod folder it tried all the one by one till i found out what one was causing it. Seems that it has already been discussed on here. It was an all-route Tod as Tkessel said about.

Thank you all for responding, I finally found the underlying cause of it. Will just put up with it as it does some amazing work on the lights.

By the way the behaviour where train lights get brighter when a route is using the new skies is part of TSW itself - it's so that if you bring a train across routes (for example with Scenario Designer) then the headlights approximately work.

It's not really something the mod is in control of - the sky system puts out information that rolling stock uses to adjust it's light setup.

Do you mind sharing the link to the mod? Looks promising.
