Last few days / weeks I have strange overkill fog occurrence on all routes. Now I am playing Cane Creek and this is this looks like this: I am playing this game since very beginning and this looks new.
I like to set the date in line with the real one - perhaps the ladies and gentlemen of DTG for March have set an extremely 'realistic' probability of a fog? On the other hand, we are not everywhere in England.
Yeah I found that dynamic just means it’ll rain or get foggy. Ever noticed how on previews they don’t use dynamic weather? Personally I just set to todays date and then change the weather to whatever it actually is. Either way, worth doing a run with custom weather and seeing if you get the fog, but I’m pretty sure that the dynamic weather is your issue here.
Yes I've had this. It would be nice to have an option to disable fog when on dynamic weather. Yesterday though on Niddertalbahn I was playing on Custom Weather and Clear and I still got this mysterious misty fog. The new fernbus has an option to change the weather instantly in game. Maybe this could be a feature one day. I like to do new routes on custom weather and clear so I can have a good look at them.
I usually play with dynamic weather off because fog is so frequent and annoying, makes it hard to enjoy the scenery under such a thick blanket. However, when I have the itch to use dynamic weather, I often start with fog “on” and I’ve noticed it changes to something else rather quickly. Actually, it seems like any “weather” I start with changes rather quickly. Totally unscientific observation, could be confirmation bias, but there’s my 2 cents
