I think that's a pretty safe assumption, yeah. Not before time. The game needs a pacer, and the old one is more than 10 years old now, and showing its age compared to newer AP stuff. I'm looking forward to it.

Or possibly a combined EP for the DTG 142 and 143?

To be fair the real Pacers always showed their age. :)

From being brand new, yes. I remember them being introduced. Strangely, I kind of miss them now.

The pack is older than Windows 8. It is safe to say a remake would be useful.

I wonder if you'll get a discount on the new version if you have the old version???

This type of thing is common. We will see if it applies here.

I personally won't bother with the new 142.
I have had the old version for quite a few years and drove it about 3 times.
Some scenarios require it but its just something to see as you go past it.

The 142 holds little interest for me too, I own it just for AI.

and yet the virtual ones outlasted the real ones by a few years.

People in the Virtual World think they are ok if they have not travelled on one.

Pacers were a hoot! There was a section just after Salwick on the Fylde line (pre electrification) that you'd swear you were on a boat if you closed your eyes :)

All we seemed to get on the Chester Manchester mid Cheshire line was 142's! It was luxurious if we got a 150 or above for the hour long trip to Manchester from Greenbank!

Since the 142's retirement we now seem to exclusively have 150's running back n forth.
