    If they do then Hauptstrecke Berlin Stettin or Hauptstrecke Berlin Reppen (Repzin) EU46 Vectron EU44 Taurus. Had to use the German names due to how hard polish names are said for non-polish speakers including Germans & Austrians.

    Berlin - Szczecin (Stettin)
    Berlin - Warszawa (Warschau)
    Berlin - Wrocław (Breslau -> Kulturzug)
    Berlin - Rzepin (Reppen) - Poznań (Posen)
    Dresden - Wrocław (Breslau)
    Frankfurt O. - Zielona Góra (Grünberg)
    Görlitz - Zielona Góra (Grünberg)
    Görlitz - Jelenia Góra (Hirschberg)
    Forst Lausitz - Żagań (Sagan)
    Guben - Zielona Góra (Grünberg)
    Ahlbeck - Świnoujście (Swinemünde)

    Special german names for Germans & Austrians. ;) I think I mentioned all of them...

    You are correct because German trains tend to do that set up when running into Poland Polish Name first and German name 2nd depending on the Rolling Stock if it's the Intercity carriages Polish name is omitted therefore saying it as Posen Warschau if headed to those cities from Berlin. Dresden Görlitz Breslau is actually feasible because it's shorter than Warschau Kattowitz which is actually the first route by 200 km. The German names were there since the division of Poland by Germany Austria and Russia that will explain those names more recently 1940s East Prussia Southern Part. Berlin Marienburg (Malbork) via Küstrin ( Kostryn) can't even go to its historic terminus Königsberg (Russia Kaliningrad) link is the German Wikipedia and it also works. Russian gauge section of that one uses Russian gauge version of ST44 M62 locomotive which is called in Germany as Deutsche Reichsbahn Baureihe 120 Taigatrommel.

    From what I can see the Ty 52 locomotive is the same locomotive as Deutsche Bundesbahn Bahndirektion Köln Ruhr Sieg Nord Baureihe 052 Deutsche Reichsbahn Deutschen Demokratischen Republik Reichsbahndirektion Dresden Nahverkehr Dresden Tharandter Rampe 52.80 Rekolok hint it's the Training Center poster locomotive

    They did have screenshots of the editor. There's multiple parts to the editor so it probably will end up taking up a bit of time before it comes into fruition

    So is this a partner programme like DTG’s or will the editor be genuinely part of the software available to all, not just those who apply? I’m aware of the editor placeholder in the Simrail menu, but perhaps they have since taken inspiration from the TSW business model. Let’s see further down the line if they allow 3rd parties to sell their own routes and rolling stock, or insist on everyone using their “store”. Forgive my cynicism, but having been already taken for a ride once by DTG I would hate to see any newcomers go down the same path. Being realistic, perhaps this is the only really profitable path today?

    Correct and for Simrail if they get a route in North America US & Canada some signal boxes are remote controlled like Union Tower Rahway & Harold Tower Sunnyside Yard

    Looks like they are doing part of Riesa Dresden the Flughafen Dresden Klotzsche Branch. DTG needs to be doing Görlitz Moys Görlitz Dresden as a way to compete with Simrail. DB BR642 here needs Rmv decals for Niddertalbahn as alt paint Paint 1 DB BR642 VVO. If diesel dosto DB BR245 VVO Dosto paint 2 DB BR245 RMV Niddertalbahn. Important thing to remember Polish cities have German names which is what needs to happen if they were to make this route in TSW3 and merge with Riesa-Dresden making it the airport branch

    Doesn't seem to be the majority. ;) Because after the initial euphoria it seems to have gotten pretty quiet here (actually in all forums about the Simrail). 3 posts since Friday, after such an announcement!

    Meanwhile, I prefer to enjoy the Rhine route or the Niddertalbahn.

    Fair point. At the moment SP is still under construction. However MP massively improved since the first releases and now it works almost flawlessly.

    Niddertalbahn seems pretty complete to me and relatively bug free.

    As others have noted above, I will return to SimRail when there is a serious commitment to the single player game, with plentiful scenarios and/or a complete timetable and a decent save system, of which checkpoints may go some way but not a complete flexible solution to hitting F2 or F5 when you like.

    As I understand it, the focus (almost exclusively) continues to be on multiplayer, which means that the sim is out of the question for me. A pity. :(

    TSW may not be bug-free, but I wouldn't want to do without certain familiar standards such as scenarios and a 24-hour timetable anywhere else. If Simrail can offer this, then maybe I would think again.

    As if Simrail were perfect. ;) It's just all still hyped for multiplayer. The lack of any reasonable single-player content, missing save function and the editor (whether that comes for the normal user at all?!) is almost not negatively charged at all.

    I'm not so sure SimRail will be a real competitor when the developers and community expects you to know the polish language "because they have had to conform to german and english content for so long".. I mean..really, never mind english and german being world languages.
    I am especially excited to see how modding will work out for non-polish modders cosidering all the special characters in their alphabet, I know this has been an issue in Omsi 2 where addons has been made using polish locale with the result of "missing" assets for users using the common A-Z alphabet.

    ...recently picked up the subject of cross-border routes in the forum, so it's nice to see that SimRail is currently developing one. Thereby you can catch two flies with one flap or in other words two countries and their railfans with one route. The BR642 railcar unit is also very popular in Germany and currently also runs on the Niddertalbahn. The steam locomotive BR52 or Ty2 seems also be in development. Wasn't there this poster in the Training Center of TSW3. ;)
    Competition stimulates business and product overlaps can always happen. So far, DTG has avoided cross-border routes due to double research and integration of two signal and security systems. It would be great if something like that would also be possible in TSW3 in the future.

    You are correct and for some routes they have the potential to become International take Schnellfahrstrecke Köln Aachen which can become this route Schnellfahrstrecke Brüssel Köln BRO BGR Bremen Groningen

    The BR52 looks very nicely modeled. The rail clearer on the front axle also makes the locomotive ready for winter conditions. When I see these pictures, I ask myself how far the implementation of this loco for the UE4 has progressed so far. ;)

    Even in beta Simrail is so much better than TSW3 in many aspects. I think people underestimate it or actually didn't even try it and speak only by hearsay (eg the guy above who was convinced the game is in polish language :D )

    I can recognize the three pictures they are NJ Transit GP40-2PH 1991 refurbishment Comet I-IV coach. Looks like they are trying to do the Raritan Valley Line which actually serves my local stations High Bridge & Annandale junction 18 I-78

    I think SimRail is a different kind of animal. It fills a gap and has potential, but personally I have not found it easy to get going and driving, the tutorials are lacking quite a bit of information. The routes provided at the moment are totally unfamiliar to me and are too long. I also personally have no interest in Multiplayer stuff. It is missing just a simple timetable mode with a range of services to pick from.

    In fact there are timetables for all tastes: 1h or less commuter rails, 2,30h pendolino, full route IC, short freight services ecc...

    If these guys are smart (which I think they are), they start to consider the console player base. It´s a reasonably large number, I´d wager.
    And doing things better than DTG lately, shouldn´t be too hard either.

    Well i dont think all the content suppose to be in final version. That EN57 is some extra bonus, the same goes for route extension. Even that EP08 wasnt announced that its going to be part of the final version. From their official:
    “Planned features to be added in the full version:
    • Steam locomotives.
    • Controller support.
    • Shunting operations.
    • Winter weather effects.
    • Adding more playable signal boxes.
    So nothing about route extension, nothing about another extra locos... they just listen community which is completely different then DTG as they even charge money for that elf dlc.

    They will talk about consoles once final version of SimRail is released (so maybe during summer). Right now we are still in EA. The same goes for editors.
