Hi, This thread is a very different to what I usually suggest here as this is more aimed at the newbies in this forum. This isn't me having "a go" at the newbies more of a suggestion of how they can format their suggestions.. Formatting Route Suggestions When it comes to suggesting future route DLC for Train Sim World, It's best to try and sell your suggestion just like you would with your CV when you apply for a job. This would include explaining why you think that your suggested route DLC would be at home in the game. This can include: 1) Information of the route - This doesn't have to be detailed but I recommend including the route length aswell as a map of the route. if one isn't available to use from Google Images, you can simply do this by setting a route between your two terminating stations in Google Maps. 2) Rolling Stock - List the locomotives and/or Multiple Units that you would like to see come with the route. You can try and include a image of each one as there are some people on this forum who may not be familiar with such locos/MUs. 3) Stations - Include a full list of all of the Stations that would be included in the route. You could also include images of each station if you want. 4) Era - Tell us when your suggested route is set 5) Layers - Tell us what locomotives and/or Multiple Units could be layered onto your suggested route from their originating routes. Formatting Locomotive / Multiple Unit Suggestions When it comes to suggesting Locomotive/Multiple Unit DLC, just like with a route DLC, try and sell your suggestion. You can tell us which existing route this could be for and why. You could also tell which route(s) the loco/MU could layer onto aswell. OH! and you can also try and include a image or more of your suggested locomotive or Mulitple Unit. I hope this has been useful to those who are new to the suggesting forum for the TSW Franchise. Happy Suggesting!
Not to steal the limelight from yourself here, but I would like to throw this thread in; https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/suggestions-guide.45451/ as well, as it provides examples as well.
