It's been a fair while since I've contributed to Creators Club in the form of a scenario, and so I'll be reviving a few older ones, and bringing something to the table. Diversion Day Due to works on the WCML around Polmadie and Cambuslang, West Coast Mainline services have been diverted along the Newton branch of the Cathcart Circle Line. You have been tasked with getting this service around the Cathcart Circle section. Glasgow Central -> Newton Class 395 (AWC) Scenario Link: N/A Livery Links: N/A Required DLC: SEHS Extended, Glasgow Cathcart Circle Recommended Weather: Any Powercut Due to harsh weather recently, Power Lines have failed on the Neilston branch between Williamwood and Whitecraigs. Your job is to take a light loco Class 66 from Glasgow Central to Neilston, to enable a rescue of a stranded Class 314 unit. Glasgow Central -> Neilston Class 66 (EWS) Scenario Link: Livery Links: Required DLC: SEHS, Glasgow Cathcart Circle The Good Old Days A sequel to one of my existing scenarios... Welcome back to the past. You are tasked with hailing this InterCity Class 45 service from Newton to Glasgow Central, where the train will terminate. You are, however, trailing a slower Class 150 service, so expect adverse signals along the route. Newton -> Glasgow Central Class 45 (InterCity) Scenario Link: Livery Links: Required DLC; NTP, GCC, {WCL}, other TBC. Note: This scenario will feature a variant which replaces the WCL 150 with the NTP 101, for those who don't own WCL. These Scenarios will come soon, along with some others from different routes. When I'm near finished these ones, I will post in-depth looks at them, so you can see what's on offer. Cathcart, to me, is now a lifeless route, so this is a way for me to make it interesting for myself and, hopefully, others.
Step One for these scenarios is the livery requirements. As the first scenario focuses on Avanti West Coast, why not start there by giving the SEHS Class 395 a fresh lick of paint to turn it into the BR Class 805/807? Coming soon...
Diversion Day The first scenario, Diversion Day, takes place in a setting where the WCML and all commuter lines are shut between Newton and Glasgow Central, around Polmadie. This means that all services that go to Glasgow Central High Level via this line have been diverted around the Cathcart Circle - a scenario rooted in reality. This will, for this scenario, mean; Avanti West Coast (395) ScotRail (314) Freight (66) Spoiler: Scenario Details - Don't open if you want it to remain a surprise! The freight will be one Class 66 + wagons set running between Glasgow and Newton, as if to be an engineering train. Along the way, you'll be behind a heavily delayed Newton - Glasgow service, and will encounter Cathcart Circle and diverted Argyle Line (High Level) services. More on this soon.
Diversion Day - Uploaded Diversion Day has been made, tested and uploaded. Take Avanti West Coast's 805001 from Glasgow Central to London Euston as far as Newton, where another driver will take over. In case you're wondering, you've been requested to do this service due to your impeccable knowledge of the route, saving us the hassle of having our drivers on the line who know nothing of it. Time: ~25 Mins Stops: 1 (Terminus) Spoiler AI: 12 Total Spoiler (1 Class 66, 11 Class 314) Signals: Chasing Yellows and Reds from GLC to Mount Florida, Greens until Newton, where you will (depending on time) have to wait for a 314 to leave. Liveries: Class 395 AWC - https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/88458 Required for scenario's purposes Class 314 SPT - https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/440 Recommended for Variety Scenario Link: https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/88482
InterCity 47 As a requirement for one of these scenarios, I feel like it deserves a post alongside the Avanti West Coast one. Swallow Variant Executive Variant Currently modelled on 47612 'Titan', but a generic version will be made soon.
