I think DTG really needs to start considering the P42DC there are so many requests for the locomotive and it's long overdue there are already enough routes for the P42 and Superliner as is to satisfy the community for the time being... Adding this locomotive and rolling stock would allow DTG to expand its Amtrak portfolio towards the west and expand on more future opportunities. For the past 3 TSW's they've only focused on the East Coast Amtrak line I think it'd be a nice refresher to expand Westward and add this long-due train.
I think DTG might have a winning loco DLC (P42 + Superliner consist) provided that it comes with layers for the US routes where they run in real life. I say routes, plural, because Amtrak just doesn't run with much frequency out in the boonies; one train-pair per day is typical, and sometimes only three per week.
