Seeing as there is a lot of negativity for the brand new route. Once again, i'd like to say thank you to Skyhook, DTG and the beta testers! I've run a service with the 158 and it's a great little unit to use, there are a few issues, albiet minor, but I'm vastly enjoying it!
Also, just did a 158 service, and all seemed well. Those brakes will take a bit getting used to, but from what I have now driven, it will be a fun route and a nice addition to the UK route structure from DTG.
I will persevere with it most likely but I still feel like in its current state the timetable is the biggest let down. I hope this will be addressed. The route itself is good though apart from the bugs.
Did my first service: 2L25 08.24 Leicester - Lincoln and this was one of numerous encounters along the way. The sounds are glorious.
It’s nice but it’s just suffering from so many, almost pathetic, typical Train Sim World problems that just aren’t getting addressed.
I'm liking the sounds, the models and the amount of ai traffic about especially. On the whole it's a good release.
This is the most frustrating thing with routes like this. There doesn't look to be something fundamentally wrong with this route. A speed sign mismatch here and there, some missing key bindings, some missing wipers areas.... All the major, hard to do things are there - The scenery is solid. The train models are gorgeous, they sound good and even physics look to be very well done... So, nothing too big that couldn't be patched within two weeks.... But post launch support history is atrocious in TSW, and basically only Bremen - Oldenburg received proper post launch bug fixing. For everything else you have to wait months for even the most basic fixes (like in Trenton, where all the major issues are still untouched and not really acknowledged). So you cannot really blame people for not having faith in the product being patched and asking for refund.
And that's without a core update (like a future TSW4) breaking stuff. Some TSW2 perserved content has gotten new bugs in TSW3 and still haven't been updated since TSW3 release.
Not bad i would give it 8/10 not as good as BML or SEHS or KASSEL to Wurztburg probably more on par with GWE at best
