I have come to the conclusion that it must be in the 3rd party licensing agreement that dlcs must not be tested. 99% of the bugs would be picked up by actual humans
This is the first time ever, that a Skyhook DLC does not meet the required standard that should be expected...oh wait...
As mentioned these are not ultra rare bugs that are being found but so easy to spot stuff, so the question needs to be asked. Do DTG do ANY testing of the content. People don't expect games to be 100 % bug free but TSW 2020/2/3 content has been some of the buggiest games I have ever played. DTG need to get its house in order regarding quality, trains need to run properly, scenarios need to be able to be completed, trophies / achievements need to unlock first time no going offline or waiting hours or some other dodgy trick to get them. The QA department needs a massive shake up, the idea they have to release so quick as they need to make money is also a non starter as how many people have stopped buying content day 1 or now wait for the patch to fix day 1 bugs or sales? I have worked as a games tester so know what goes on and yes pressure is put on to get stuff out asap. And yes testers do know about the problems people have. They need to hire more people to fix bugs or take some people of dev to fix the game. My fear is that they have lost control of QA on the game and they are struggling to fix the bugs which probably means TSW4 in a years time to try to start afresh. I want TSW3 to be a great game but they need to keep on top of the issues and try to avoid releasing broken content
Thing is. If Sony/MS/Valve etc allowed DTG to charge for bug fixes, these issues would be fixed very quickly
