I suggest you upgrade TSW to TSC. You will have route extension to Leipzig.

TSC with 3 base routes are cheaper than 1 TSW routes.
    Why not try it?
TSC base will end in a week. DRA will return to normal price.

Speaking of old dra, I would certainly love to have the Br 182 be available again for S-Bahn services

Nice to see that good old TSC hasn't lost any of its fascination. But once DRA has received its TOD4 upgrade and volumetric clouds adorn the sky over Dresden, then the graphic superiority of TSW will show itself. ;) Clear that the TSC uses many other building assets, including textures, that haven't yet been created for TSW. Therefore, an impression of general building recycling often arises, which sometimes leaves a monotonous overall impression.

BTW: I think the BR182 a fan favorite. Unfortunately, it's hardly ever used on regular S-Bahn trains anymore and usually only pulls fast IRE trains, such as between Magdeburg and Frankfurt/Oder. But as a S-Bahn layer option on DRA it would make sense, because it actually drove here for some years as S2 with the Dostos.

If TSC would work on my laptop without crashing then I'd be tempt to give it another go.

But there's so many issues with TSC that seem never to be fixed. Then there's the whole dependencies worklm hole which is a stumbling block.

Yes! It was removed from the route in late 2021 due to a bug with the door controls. That bug was resolved ages ago, but it still hasn’t been re-added. So unfortunate :(

It would be great to see a route extension for the TSW version to Leipzig, however I am not looking at the images and thinking it looks better than the TSW version. Of which I have barely scratched the service in service mode yet. I wonder how many scenarios the TSC version comes with?

...to implement the route extension to Leipzig in TSW3 would be another 65km or 40+ miles. Last year's SEHS route extension was 30+ miles or 48km. Looking ahead a few months towards the summer surprise, DRA and London Commuter are the last two Rush Hour routes that haven't received a TOD4 upgrade yet, while Boston Sprinter has long been dealt with. As a bonus, the ICE T can be added for DRA and the Class700 for LCR, which has already been leaked. Then you could take your time with the BR52 steam loco. It's not a question of if, but when! ;)

Why oh why, whenever German steam comes up, do people immediately cite the crappy old BR 052? It was a terrible engine, DB hated it, and they were all scrapped as soon as they could spare them (while keeping the much preferred prewar Einheits and even some old Landesbahn engines). It was a shoddily rushed war-production piece of tin that nobody liked, but used because there was at first no alternative.

Probably due to the posters in game that hinted at it whether it was actually a 52 or not

I can't play TSW again. TSC is less stutter and mostly smooth, if set correctly.
Looking forward to TSC core update.
