At the storage and maintenance complex of Usedomer Eisenbahn Gesellschaft in Niderau in Germany, a rake of Deutsche Bahn locomotives has just arrived to be stored due to pandemic-impacted timetable changes. Newer rolling stock has been prioritised, meaning older locomotives (such as BR 143s, 112.1s, 155s, 101s and 110s) have been put away. Meanwhile, DB BR 187 086-4 holds in a siding on its way to Thyssenkrupp Schulte's plant in Radebeul to allow a BR 442 Talent 2 to overtake. Simultaneously, a container train races toward Leipzig to satisfy the increased demand for online shopping that has come from many Germans being stuck at home.
