Creators Club Many Copyright Violations

I found the company BHP has been painted on hoppers which is a violation against the creatoirs club terms and conditions.

Apparently there are quite a few like this.

DTG does not have permission as far as I know to use logos from these corporates and as far as I know take copyright infringements like this very seriously.

Your point? Technically if you want to be a stickler/ stick in the mud about it yes, it's a violation, but on the other hand, what's the harm if people wanna make a livery to play with in game & share it with others in that game? It's a kin to free advertising, especially if you recreate a brand accurately, something of which companies don't seem to grasp imo.

 

If a Company finds out that their Logo is being used without permission, they can sue DTG in the worst case.

 

Why not just use the report button on the creator club page? I don't think a thread needed to be made highlighting somebody's mod, it comes across as a little snitch-y

 

Some people should just mind their own Business, its not an users job to police Creators Club for licences.
Report them If you feel like thats necessary, but dont spam the Forum with multiple Threads.

It’s not well received to snitch and there’s thousands of liveries that goes against rules and it doesn’t bother me as long as it’s not offensive

 

Just report it. I don't think there's much discussion to be had, particularly not multiple discussions - one for every copyright infringement you find.

 

In swedish: golare har inga polare. I can't really understand your statement here. These liveries are created by players for other players, noone is making money here.

 

Seriously, SD40Australia, if you have a problem with stuff on the Creator's Club just report it. Nobody likes a snitch. If you're posting on the forums to get outrage at copyright infringement, it's not going to work.

I bet the OP is on the phone and sending many thousands of emails to record labels, singer's and bands daily because they heard someone singing their songs, man that's some hardcore living right there.......

I really don't get why people would report non offensive liveries. Who in the hell honestly cares if something violates a copyright on creators club. There are better things to do than to be a snitch on something that literally harms nobody

I created that livery didn't think it would cause one person to have a whole problem with it. Funny thing is they have nothing to say now just probably was desperate for attention.

 

Those liveries are great ! And that removes no money from companies. If those companies are harmed by this they will tell DTG.
So maybe the OP should mine his own buisness instead of multiples threads here or on Facebook.
