Quite nice add-on, very thorough and fun to run once you understand everything. Great learning tutorial. Should do one for the JA's

I'd actually love to have an aussie route with aussie locos and rolling stock.

Fixed? It just needs a developer, preferably an australian one, who is familiar with the location and rolling stock. NZ Midland wasn't developed by DTG either.

Any news on the terrain mesh update which addresses the FPS issues?

It's been apparently in the DTG's QA/testing since end of March, according to NZTS' post from 1 April. Surely new fixes like for the locos are required after the core update last week, so even if that's already fixed internally, it still needs to go again into DTG's testing & QA before the release.

We're waiting on Dovetail to issue it, usually it takes around three months from when I send them a file until they release it - so I'd expect it sometime towards the end of June, early July via Steam.

Most users that are previewing it are reporting decent improvements, though water etc still presents a big FPS hit - perhaps something that the core update can address at some point - if you want a copy, let me know - though the install process is a bit more involved than if Steam was left to handle it :)

No big deal installing manually - where can I get a copy of the patch?
