It was inevitable. Despite my posting of a workaround for the injector malfunction caused directly by the TSC core code update, somebody posted the first (and so far only) negative review on Steam for the Smokebox Big Boy, saying that the injectors don't work. Obviously he didn't see the posts on Dovetail Live or on Facebook. Comments are disabled on the review, so I can't even respond there. So, once again, the link for the workaround is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xs...9IV3WYHGIcscIJ8jkpSkCj1OzR5-TrLXMtbOm93WFtUJc It's an RWP, which you can install by running Utilities.exe (located in your RailWorks root folder). Select the Package Manager tab, click on Install and in the Load Package dialog that pops up, open the rwp.
Hopefully this is an issue that DTG will fix. Selling DLC that doesn't work unless you install a semi-unofficial workaround (that you'd only know about if you browse the forums) isn't good.
No, you still have to disable the default auto-fireman in the game settings and having the loco's own specialised expert autofireman enabled or disabled makes no difference - either way the injectors (the exhaust steam injector and the live injector) are both broken unless you install the workaround patch.
First DTG need to figure out why your ControlValues do not work as they should in the first place. How can you make an update if even the developer cannot release reliable blueprint specs? I'll stick to running your beautiful locos on v72 until issues are really sorted.
I assume the person who posted it deleted it themselves. Dovetail got in trouble a few years back for deleting reviews.
