This idea could be really awesome. In 1911-1912, ATSF took 10 2-10-2 "Santa Fes" steam engines and lengthened them. They also added a unique "turtleback tender." The engines were numbered #3000-3009 The engines were ultimately failed experiments, so they were converted back to 2-10-2s in 1915-1918. The Raton Pass or Cajon Pass routes would be perfect for these giants. Rolling stock to include would be WWI era freight cars and a caboose.
