PC Don't Look A Gift Route In The Mouth

After a bit of confusing maneuvering, I managed to download the new F-R-E-E LGV route and have been enjoying exploring it (on-and-off) all day.
The tutorials are excellent: the engine setup process is elaborate, but the only error (of omission) I noticed is that to turn on the Auxiliary Power switch it is first necessary to open the glass door of the switches cabinet located on the cab's back wall. This can be done without leaving the driver's seat and, oh, yes, you might want to close that door before continuing the startup sequence.
After running through this tutorial (and the others), I discovered the Depot Duty scenario, which requires starting up numerous trains, driving to their departure positions, and shutting them down: a very helpful follow-up to the tutorial.

Overall, the route is very well crafted and, amazingly, F-R-E-E!!!!!
Yes, I still do my best to avoid driving passenger trains, but this route will no doubt tempt me.

 

Don't worry there are no passangers, these trains are hollow tubes and stations too ;D
