Has anyone found a way to paint the front gangway door on the 387 ? I know DTG won’t fix it and I tried to move shapes on many sides and play with projection settings in vain. Thanks
What can I say? They have a large logo. Clean -> https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/91198 Weathered -> https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/91199 And, as a bonus. It's a Class 47! What (or who) else goes by 47? Well, only the world famous bald assassin, Agent 47!
I made a C&O Heritage Unit with the same style of CSX 1827. I still hope CSX starts going all the way through with the paint
UK military fictional, woodland, camouflage. Working progress just a few more polishes. Anyone checking out the livery please let me know your feedback and would like to say thank you in advance I hope y'all enjoy.
I'm planning on revamping this and making it better and with the newer logo and the throughbred logo.
Current WIP....... The lettering is a real pain and each letter/number is around 15/16 layers..... But it's getting there and will be 43002 as it was at the end of it's career.
Some progress tonight..... Just the nameplates to do now plus a little weathering. Currently up to 650 layers with the "40 years" plaques being over a hundred each.
And she's finished..... Just short of 800 layers for this one. Now on CC..... https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/98035
I’ve realised that I’ve used the BR logo from the logo pack so will have to go back into this one and create a BR logo myself as unless you have the logo pack installed you only get the lettering along the bodyside.
Nice HST over there. I tried to replicate the class 707 CityBeam from Southeastern, I did my best to be as realistic as possible knowing how limited layers are available. Done on PS5: PS: for anyone doing the 700 be aware to use more layers on doors and playing with projection, if you put a layer by exemple on the door it will spread outside doors surrounding
Just made this livery. Orange and violet are not very good for logo. Therefore, I decided to make the center of cars white and doors and signs violet. Available on the Creation Club now (I hope this won't get down).
Started this one a few weeks ago but got around to just about finishing it today...... Not totally correct due to the coupler etc.... but still a good representation to how she is currently. The limitations of this model in Livery Editor made a few things a bit of a challenge but I'm happy with how it's come out. I'll be uploading it to Creators Club tomorrow.
Did a quick and easy one today..... Class 101 50203 & 50266 as they are currently preserved on the Great Central Railway in Loughborough. This one is more for use on the WSR as though the unit has moved from the GCR to the WSR or is on loan etc..... It'll be going on Creators Club later.
Hi guys I made a custom livery for my new collection of liveries coming to TSW for my new operator profrail - check it out on creators club and give thoughts https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/103044
I used Harlem line M3A to authentically re-create, the Nyc diamond Q subway train. just like the other three NYC liveres I have created, they all have the proper decals, flags, PIS boards, and correct train car numbers to there actual make and model. I hope you all enjoy. All of my liveries will get their polish and 100% completion updates when dovetail fixes liveries, not updating glitch!
It's done https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/104429 edit: black roof not stretching along the whole middle units should be fixed edit 2: similar issue with the underside panels of the middle units has been fixed
Class 43 (43185) in Intercity Swallow livery for the GWE route https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/105245
That is exceptional work! Had a go at the swallow myself and hated it! Didn't even attempt the lettering. (It was for 08644 and didn't need it)
Express train steam locomotive after World War 2 livery. Series 01 ran well into the 1970s until it was completely phased out. Thanks to many railways club, the historic steam locomotive are still preserved and maintaid. You can find the paintwork in the Creators Club at TSW under DB BR 01 180-9

My attempt on transforming an EMD F125 into an EMD DE30AC from MTA, I tried to be the most accurate despite the MTA logo not being perfect, I still need to work on it. I’ll do both C3 cab cars and trailers later. Enough talking here’s the result:
After doing the 101 unit based on the Great Central Railway the other month I thought I'd add the newly refurbished unit based on the KWVR which has just been outshopped in a later version of the blue livery with headcode boxes. This version is on CC as is the earlier GCR version. I've also been asked about doing another unit based on another railway by one of the owners so I'll be having a go at that one over the next few days.
Another preserved 101 unit today. One of the co-owners of 51213 & 56358 based at the East Anglian Railway Museum asked if i could give it a go so here she is. Done a couple of versions one with a headcode and one with plain white headcodes (He said they do this when it is stabled to protect the blinds from sun damage). The other end has just a plated over headcode panel as per reality and happy with how that's come out. A little more tinkering then i'll add it to CC with the others.
Just a quick one,,,I don’t usually follow many people’s work as I like or tend to keep myself to myself but looking at others work on here and your work is truly inspiring. Especially some of your work Dave,,I think I have mentioned this in a older post at some point before as I real effort gone into recreating these pieces of work and the time involved are clearly on display. So yes really amazed at what work gets put out,,,it’s just a shame there are not more likes or comments regarding some of the work seen above and in general. Great work tho folks seriously. Lee.
Thanks..... I've uploaded another version of this unit in ex-works condition with no weathering at all as per the real unit this week.
I gave the mixed livery unit a few more tweaks here and there and went with a new skewed headcode in the end. Now uploaded to CC..... Hope the co-owner likes it and enjoys using it.
Nice one,,keep my eyes peeled,,,as I do have a soft spot for class 101. Memories of travelling to Rhyl as a kid from Warrington Bank Quay. Oh the smell,,,I miss them so much. So like I say I’ll keep my eyes open and I’ll tell you why. I do feel rude as I am usually so busy to actually enjoy time driving other liveries off CC due to working so long on my own ones,,so I don’t think I own more than one or two other users liveries,,when I should now there is really good content like yours. As always great work. Lee.
Hi Dave can I just ask you in what way do you do a simple application of the lower weathering?. I may have a few tips to help with these nasty lines that tend to show up. It can add more time to a livery but with something simple as a 101 then it wouldn’t take you too long,,maybe a extra 4 of 5 decals that’s all. I found weathering with the gradients decals can leave them shading lines so I tried to find a solution to easy them or get rid completely. So yes this is why I ask as I may be able to help if you too don’t like them lines but still want to add film or dust appearance on your trains. Let us know if ya want more information on how to easy them lines as clearly you know what ya doing so I’m not saying it to disrespect you. I just maybe able to help,,,who know you may have tips on how you do your weathering for me. Cheers again. Lee.
