Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will alwaysremain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, June 02nd and will be judged by me - Limeyfox In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, June 04th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. Theme for this week : "Connection". Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.

Panic Ye Not !! I have had a stupidly busy week at work but am off now for a long weekend, so tomorrow, or maybe even later tonight, will see some postings from me. Also we are at that time of year when folks are away on their Jolly Holidays, so maybe don't have access to TSC. Worst case scenario is we roll this theme over for another week, has been done before, and we are all as flexible as hell when push comes to shove. Nothing wrong with the theme, I am looking forward to creating a couple of ideas that maybe pushing the Interpretation Factor.

Keeping the connection between London City Centre and the northern suburbs, a passing pair of Metropolitan Lines S7 stock.
I would have kept quiet if I were you, you were up for a clean sweep of podium places. LOL As cscarpenter said, we are at that time of year when a lot of folks spend quality family time away on holiday as opposed to us sad folks that have nothing better to do than play TSC, LOL. Must admit I do get withdrawal symptoms if I don't get my daily fix. As previously stated, if we need to roll over then so be it. We all just go with the flow which is why I love this thread.
Haha that is all good to the people who just don’t have time or are busy, and I guess you are right about keeping quiet and I would’ve had a podium sweep but where’s the fun in a competition where you make up almost all of the submissions? Happy to see all the submissions coming now as I always really enjoy this competition and always good to see people contributing to it.
So here goes, my first time judging one of these! After a slow start, some very good submissions, I’ve enjoyed looking through all of these as they’ve appeared. The theme was ‘Connection’ and I was looking for an interpretation of the theme in addition to an interesting or striking image. Picking a top three was a tough task. First I would like to give two honourable mentions, for these very impressive images by Craigie-C and Blazin; Third Place, I’m awarding to cscarpenter for this unusual and effective take on the theme of connection. Nice! In Second Place, we have this from Blazin showing units that literally have the word ‘connect’ branded on them. A colourful scene, very good! (For some reason the lack of a corridor connection on the 313 seems ironic.) And then this week’s winner, in First Place is cscarpenter again, as cheeky take on the theme as my win last week! Of course the humble coupling is the most important connection on the railway. Without it we’d all be riding in very small trains. The choice of vehicle is also an interesting one. Congratulations sir! The floor is yours.
Thanks for the win Limeyfox, very much appreciated, as you rightly say, another terrific collection of shots from all concerned. Next weeks thread is now up and running with the theme "Colourful" https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-competition-week-23.70588/ Please feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Have fun all.
Oh yes, you would be right. I must’ve overlooked the honourable mentions part and must’ve mistook it as third place. Thanks for the correction.
