I’m driving an ECS on SEHS and naturally I’m following another service. But I’m finding it awfully painful because I cannot see what the next signal actually is until I’m about 200 yards away. Firstly the draw distance on signals just isn’t far enough away, but more importantly it’s near impossible to tell a yellow signal from a red without zooming, even when your just a few hundreds yards away. This results in unnecessarily slowing down and often me just looking to the map to see what aspect it actually is. And then there’s the problem of the stupid and inaccurate light flair which makes distinguishing a single yellow from a double yellow just as difficult. I know it’s not my TV screen because I’ve seen it on YouTube videos and I’ve even done the cloud gaming on my phone and it’s all the same. It’s really ruining my driving experience, and I just wish it would be addressed. It’s only been a major issue since the new weather and lighting was implemented.
The new lighting has spoilt the visibility of signals, especially where they haven’t used new more appropriate intensity levels for them. I have to rely on the HUD aspects now as relying on the in-game signals is no longer possible in most conditions.
