Here's a clip of Bremen to Oldenburg (custom weather- clear, DB BR 101). You can see that the performance is far from optimal at times.

I also had a similar situation on LR. Lots of stutters outside of tile loading even if I have modern hardware

For me it's like that on SEHS lately. I only have the core routes installed on PS5 to see if it helps. It does not. For me the game is playing almost constantly at at sub 30fps with very short and delayed LOD.

I've played TSW3 on series x via gamepass, with about 8 tsw2020 routes installed and it was smoother and looked cleaner too.

Older routes are almost perfect on new consoles and TSW3. I remember headaches playing LIRR on PS4 back in the TSW2020 days. Now it's a completely new experience. New routes, made specifically for TSW3, have more problems and more stuttering, but at least they're 95% of the time at 60 fps on my Xbox Series X. I like Birmingham Cross City, but there is noticeable stuttering all around the Birmingham city area. Talking about old routes, the only one with a lot of stuttering also on new consoles is, in my experience, Munich-Augsburg, in the Munich area.

I just had a crash on Hamberg Lubeck on PS5 during the scenario New To The Area and am still experiencing stuttering issues. Although overall it's definitely a marked improvement I was expecting far better on Next Generation console. All other games I've played are flawless. This isn't really fair or reasonable given the high price point for the dlc.

Not sure if it's worth noting but I'm running it 4k max PS5 performance settings. I'm leaning towards this being a partial issue at least regarding slight stuttering issues.

PlayStation 5 and xbox series x both need optimization but Dtg will do nothing about it. Series x does perform better than ps5 in most routes. London commuter on series x is a stutter fest pulling out of stations with a 20 to 25 to 30 fps again not being looked at and I don't play this route anymore because it just spoils it. Please DTG LOOK AT THESE CONSOLES AND GIVE US BETTER PERFORMANCE.

It seems crazy tbh. I really don't understand the logic. Surely it's in their interests to produce the best most streamlined version they can as it will convert to better sales in the long run and happy customers, happy customers convert into more buzz and more sales. I get they don't have the same resources as say Ubisoft or Rockstar but Dovetail has been around a while now and are very much on the map in terms of development. Their graphical and physics work is exceptional so all that leads me to conclude is that the bean counters and middle management are stifling the overall output in favour of increased sales. I know I'm somewhat stating the obvious here but my point is that by stifling the quality of the product you only serve to stunt and inhibit the financial growth anyway. No one likes buying a broken toy.
