I just finished a route quite quickly and efficiently, and I wanted to see how I fared in comparison with everyone else who finished the route. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a leaderboard in the game - please mention in the comments if it is a thing hidden away somewhere. Led me on to thinking why isn't there a leaderboard in general. The statistics you get at the end of each route are pretty epic, but I want to see my world ranking. What do you guys think?
I’m not sure there is one. It’s not really a competition or race. The point scoring system isn’t sophisticated enough to rate performance as a driver as it doesn’t take into consideration fuel efficiency, passenger comfort, stress on the mechanics of your train, adherence to railway rules, correct use of safety systems etc.
I guess one could make a leaderboard for total profile XP, like Fernbus Simulator has. Doesn't mean much, but at least you'd see how addicted you are to playing with virtual trains compared to the other train nuts.
