As you say, it's no one's fault it's just one of them things, I can only speak for myself but I'm personally loving the update and can't wait to see what comes next

i still think this route is too bright or maybe its the contrast is wrong. could do with a slider making so we can adjust the contrast/brightness

All the routes are to bright white washed in places. This has been a on going conversation since tsw3

 

Random TPWS applications are going nuts I just did a run with the HST, the 1D44 London to Nottingham and 4 miles before Loughborough station it triggered a stop, I think I’ll deactivate it until it gets fixed.

I already loved the 158 but love it even more now I understand the guard has a job to do as well lol Brilliant

 

So my preference for additions to the MML would obviously be an extension to Sheffield from Derby but also from Nottingham vie the Erewash Valley Line to do stopping service from Nottingham to Leeds.
I’d love to see the Class 222 Meridian, a Northern livery added to the 158 and a EMT 156
I’d love to see future extensions on the Hope Valley Line from Sheffield, from Leicester down to St Pancras and from Derby to Birmingham

 

just did a run in the 158 Derby to Nottingham. i got emergency braked again just before nottingham station. Think my patience is beginning to run out. PS 5 user

 

Before the 25mph limit? Isnt that an approach control thing, being at 70mph dropping to 25mph rather quickly

 

I was on platform 2b at Leicester waiting for 10:07 departure but pis seemed confused it heading to London but also calling at Chesterfield sheffeild then back to Chesterfield then back to Leicester and finally London St pancras . Think it's meant to display Nottingham? I stand to be corrected of course ( this on xbox series X)

 

Just out of interest has there been any changes to the audio volume inside the cab on the 158 as it seems a little quiet.

 

I believe they are aware the patch is missing some safety system files. Jane mentioned earlier and they are working on it

More like an error there’s some CCTV signages with the WMR logo

 

They are looking into that some of the patch was missing they are working on it now

 

Still experiencing heavy stuttering around Long Eaton and Ratcliffe power station. Xbox Series X (according to YouTube videos, also a problem on PC).

 

Can't believe the publisher borked the update....oh, wait, yes i can!

Hope it gets sorted quickly as this updated has been greatly anticipated!!!!

 

The notch 3 RPM volume has been lowered by around 30% to make it match the rest of the notches (without it you can hear an abrupt change in volume when going from notch 3 to notch 4 or notch 3 to notch 2). Every other engine sound in the cab is the same. The cab is quite IRL, you are on the opposite end of the engines (unless you're sitting in a middle cab).

 

The update is a lot better But there is no Freight services And when will it be coming I am on the ps5

 

No extra foliage at syston on Xbox

 

I’m on PS5 and I downloaded the update. Freight services are there and you can have additional layers if you own the ROG DLC.

 

Freight services got borked due to a late issue. Will be patched in the next MML patch (as per Jane above)

 

Ok And the route is a lot better
The route is 9 /10 That's how I rate the route at the moment I think it has improved

 

I was pleasantly surprised to see some cement freight trains available on PS5 as well. Will be giving them a blast later.

 

I thought consoles were getting freight later, or is it just Xbox that will get them next patch?

 

Seems like a mixed bag of who gets what content ar the moment.

Jane. On other matters regarding further gameplay features. Can you confirm or deny whether the MML route can be expanded to further destinations in the future. Could enlighten all the fans who want Sheffield, Bedford etc.

That’s what I thought as well. But there’s a ps5 user later in this thread who has the freight? I’m on Xbox and I didn’t see any freight

I picked the gwe 66 it was on there for me

 

The extra time is correct It is simulating guard to driver ‘send away’ simulation. One local door stays open for a little longer each time, I believe it’s a random and different one each time too. Then once all doors closed you get the ‘away’ buzzer and off you go. Perfectly realistic.

Just reading the patch list, it doesn't seem to cover the important signalling stuff such as.... AWS ramp directionality issues/incorrect approach control (at some junctions)/TPWS activation issues and ground shunt signal on main signal post problems - I can only see the following signalling corrections in the patch list. i.e

-Added AWS magnet on the line from Derby -> Spondon
-Fitted incandescent bulbs to signal just north of Leicester station
-Signal LR501 should no longer display double greens on a clear aspect, and appropriate numbers of yellows on caution aspects.
-Activated AWS ramp for signal just north of Beeston station.
-Fixed conflicting speed limit information around curve at Long Eaton and before East Midlands Parkway from Nottingham
-Removed short 90mph section when leaving Nottingham station

Hoping they fixed the stuff I've mentioned but forgotten to put it in the patch list.....

You are probably driving way too fast, or faster than the release speed of approaching signals. I never have an issue

 

Ah, got it now. I was using Class 66DBS GWE and there is no freight at Midland. But I’ve changed to 66EWS GWE and I’m in. Thanks again.

I put out a video earlier, this is PS5 after todays update
At 3 mins in I start at Derby and pan around if this helps. I am not personally familiar with Derby itself so can't really say if anything was missing.

 

Just like many others are saying skyhook need to add class 222 to the mml as they were part of EMT and route expansion to Sheffield just a couple more miles from derby

I can see a football stadium which I think is Pride Park. (PS5)



Not sure where the other place is supposed to be. Or what it used to look like.
