We can all agree that the scenario editor is out of date and there is very little you can do with it. In this post I am suggesting that DTG add a simular scenario designer to train sim classic. This would allow you to fly around the map whilst being able to put any consist on to any present track on the map Features : A manual consist creator. You are now capable of creating your very own formation. Say you want a triple headed class 66 you can do it. Mixed freight wagons you can do it. Making sidings and depots look busier you can do it. What wacky formation would you come up with. Better service creation. Unlike the previous scenario designer where you could choose a service to start by the every 5 minutes. You can do it to the seconds now. You can also route trains to appear in and out of portals and any given time. Faults and restrictions. You are now able to add a bunch of real world restriction and faults to make yourself feel more emersed. These include, temporary speed restrictions, level crossing faults, signal faults, lineside obstructions, points faults. If a train has broken down you can now re route it past it. You are free to make a completely unusual scenario. For example you could have a class 47 on a railtour bus has to be routed on to the wrong track pluss a temporary restricted speed limit because of a obstruction on a level crossing. AI flexibility You can now have up to 100 AI services Unlike the current 20. You can set a maximum speed for them and set the PIS for them to display whatever you like. You can make them blow the horn or maybe even overshoot a station slightly meaning it has to reverse. Passenger behaviour: Yes you can controll passengers aswell. If they are standing beyond the yellow line when you are approaching a short blast of the horn to make them clear will do the job. Passengers getting stuck in the doors can happen. You can even make trainspotters appear and any location you wish. With all of these people could make some amazing and realistic scenarios for people to enjoy
