I noticed that there’s been an update for the MML so I re bought it, and I’ve downloaded the update where it was mentioned the HSTs should be fixed - nope! All coaches still say coach A on the exterior. The catering vehicle is still in reverse formation. In game the cafe bar area leads to first class and the first class seating in the catering vehicle leads to standard seating. This is factually wrong. I used to work HSTs when they were in service, including a couple of ex-East Midlands sets (if you want to get technical EC64 and NL65). The bar should be facing standard class and half coach of first class seating should be facing toward the rest of first class. I should know as I was regularly diagrammed HSTs. What’s worse is that the GWR sets are in correct formation, so I’m still not sure why the ball has been dropped here. Edit. I’m happy to provide pictures and coach layout diagrams if it means seeing this fixed. Double Edit. All coach numbers are the same. Set sitting at platform has all same coach numbers of 43052 for the full train. Triple edit. HAHAHAHHAHA. The vehicle with the TGS is reversed too! Like the guards van bit is attached facing the rest of the coaches and not the power car. Like it should be.
For me the reversed buffet was the first thing I checked and is correct after the patch. I believe there was some issue, that was no one's fault, which cause a few of the fixes not to go through.
This isn't an issue I've noticed at all yet. Sorry to be a pain but have you any screenshots to hand so I can visualise what you mean as I feel I may be interpretting it wrong: it's been a long day!
Here’s a pic. Guards area which should be facing attached to the power car is wrong way around. It’s now facing towards the rest of the train, and the area is impossible to get through in game. In reality you’d need a carriage key to access the door to get though, but that’s besides.
Ah, that is what I thought you meant but wasn't sure. Like I say I haven't seen this one at all and the bar one was a problem but after the patch is now the correct way around. This is on the actual MML route though so the AI at St Pancras may not have these fixes with them or some other technical thing wrong that I don't understand.
Okay, just checked MML. First HST that pulled up was missing the coach with the TGS, which erm, alrighty then. Buffet is facing the right way tho! Must be the AI St Pancras, or the longer formation not being correct. coach letters and vehicle numbers still all saying the same thing though.
Mmm yes , the 8 car HSTs do have the TGS the correct way round though. Yes the coach numbers and letters are still a problem for me too.
Tested on the MML the HST has the catering vehicle the correct way around. However, on a short formed train the coach with the TGS is missing. Coach letters and Vehicle numbers are still all the same along the train. Ceiling lights flash/strobe with external shadows - shadows passing by seem to cause the coach lights to match external shadows and strobe with them. Also there’s a TON of engine noise in the coaches, which in reality you’d get engine noise if stood in the vestibule opposite the power car. Again, guys, reach out to me if you’re needing help nailing this all down. I worked HST diagrams for a while.
