Since the update today to the BR204 I am unavailable to select any other route from the "To the Trains" Loco selection menu, just Main Spessart Bahn. Until now it was subbing in for all other shunter locos in the routes which had them (BR 363) and for some short freight services that were introduced with the BR 155. Going through the route menu, it is also unavailable to be picked from the list, for example on Bremen Oldenburg I get the 363 and the G6 but not the 204 now. I highly suspect that the fact that there was a duplicated entry in the loco selector before which was fixed at the same time is not a coincidence, and the "wrong" entry was deleted which had the necessary tags for subbing in.
...many fans of the BR204 feel exactly the same! Your assumption is correct that the second version was deleted and so the substitution with the BR363 no longer works on other German routes. JD meant that the replacement with the BR363 was a mistake and was therefore eliminated as a bug. But as a true German railroad connoisseur, you can't understand it, since this limits the area of application of the BR204 only to MSB and the already very small variety of German diesel locomotives in TSW is only reflected with the BR363.

On routes that have G6 and 363's the substition would be fine to be added back, funny ones were RRO mainline freight and SKA imo!
Yeah I had opened a ticket previously about the 204 on HMA Freight services when it was still possible. Definitely a fun challenge to pull a long train. I know these were supposed to be branchline diesel locos rather than just a shunting loco, so some longer services are fine where you can get up to speed, but going 40 miles at 40 Km/h was definitely not what I would call fun. My vote is for getting just the subbing for other shunters back, so we can see it as AI and drive it somewhere else than the harbor on MSB
