I don´t think those reflective textures show up as intended. And I´m pretty sure it wasn´t like this before the 7th of June patch. You might want to have your devs looking into this, DTG JD. A (light) rainy day at LFR, just leaving Mainz for Bingerbrück ----------»»»»»»»»»»»
If I´m the only one looking at this, I´m gonna ask DTG to give every of my passengers a pair of rubber boots, besides their umbrellas.
Hello Pipe, Thank you for sharing the images of this, I've put through a report for this issue to be investigated
Fingers crossed for a swift fix. I´ll attach more pics, including some long range scenery shots. To be precise: This is on PS5 rendering 4k/60 (if this is related at all). Another side note: There was a PS5 system software update short before, if not together with your 7th of June patch! Maybe this is related. It wouldn´t be the first time anyway. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/the-latest-ps5-system-update-is-now-available/ Or it is related to the "deep snow" modification, I dunno?! (the journey is RB 6020 from chapter "Taking Control" and plays on 13th of July 1997)
What´s puzzling me is that I seem to be the only one with such trouble so far?! : headscratch: Can somebody confirm this?
Just had chance to check - Its the same on problem on Steam. Btw People keep mentioning that the deep snow tech was added but I'm not seeing anything other than the old school TSW2 textured snow on this route.
Well, yeah ...... but in light rain and with water flowing hills upwards? Anyway thanks to all for confirming. So, I don´t need to throw my PS5 to the walls.
dtg_jan Hi Jan, as long as your outburst of awareness in the Technical Forum lasts: Can this be looked at, too?
I'm currently going through them one by one, mostly focussing on issues that haven't been acknowledged on the forums or haven't had tickets raised, but I will put it on the list. No promises for a fix by the way, I am just making sure we are not missing anything.
Oh wow, this looks like some of the areas outside York look when I'm going past on the ECML and we've had a few days of heavy rain.
Thanks! Mom and Dad taught me "you broke it, you fix it!". Please prove me wrong when such attitude seems to me a lost art.
Hmmm, I wouldn´t know. But water sticking on elevations or even flowing uphill ........ wasn´t that a thing of the southern hemisphere. Or not, wait ...
Just to follow up, this is in a build ready to be signed off for release. Can't give a date at this point though.
I I´ve driven again the journey that generated the soaking pictures from above and it seems all good and fixed now after yesterday´s patch. And Im really happy to be able to report that. Thanks for the swift reaction to fix this nasty bug! (Making it a habit might be a good idea, ........... just saying ... )
