I started with MS Train Sim off of a bunch of CDs 22-years ago and was very involved for years. I then spent all my time on Flight Simulator (FSX) and now Flight Simulator 2020. I became a Steam user/victim in August 2020 when FS 2020 came out.

Late in 2021 I decided to try out Train Simulator Classic on Steam. I used it for a while and then ignored it until last week when I decided to be a train driver again.
When I now start the game it tells me I am at V74.4a(x64) - is that the latest version?
I use DX12 /4k 48" monitor (3840x2160) and a RTX 3060Ti for flight sim with very good results. I am not so impressed with it here.
My main confusion is that I purchased a LOT of DLC for Train Sim Classic in December 2021. My Steam Store page shows I did purchase it (30+ items) and it is installed. But, when I try to use any of the DLC addons - they do not appear in any of the routes/scenarios/locos in the game.
When I try to start the sim from the Play Button in the Store for the DLC, e.g. Tehachapi route, the game starts but none of the route is available.
What have I done wrong between December 2021 when all the DLC worked fine and now?

I told the sim to uninstall all the DLC and then had it check the integrity of the basic files. Found one with a problem. The sim reinstalled it (did not tell me which) and the sim started OK. I then reinstalled (no download?) the DLC and all is well.
Is V74.4a the most recent - whenever I start the sim - Steam tells me there is a June 6, 2023 update available. But, I can't find a way to install it. I do have Automatic Updates turned on for Train Sim.

Open the Steam App and when selecting Train Simulator, right click on the words and open the Properties window. Here click on the DLC tab and make sure all of your DLCs are checked. Hope this helps.

Could also just be a corrupt database. If none of the above works, delete "SDBCache.bin" and "SDBCache.bin.MD5" from your Railworks folder... restart the sim and see if your stuff is there again. It won't do any harm even if it's not that, so worth a try. TS will just rebuild the database if it's missing.
