Why would they close a feedback thread when we are still providing feedback?

Attenborough has this sign, I'm assuming it should be the station name?

Also, it should be bushes and not trees besides the lineside. Feels like another country's terrain than a Great British feel...

Well, it would be logical for a new thread to provide feedback for the new patch when it drops

Not sure if anyone has seen that at East Midlands Parkway, both signals for the up and down main are lit up for the same service

    solicitr fair enough..

This is accurate to real life and the one along the up line is a co-acting signal to the one along the down and so both apply to the down fast. The serial numbers of the signals will be the same but the one along the up fast will have a CA below to signify it is the co-acting signal. So yes, they should show the exact same aspect as each other as they will in real life.

That is really good to know, thank you for the insight.
What is the reason for this if you don't mind?

I don't really know the section of line at all in real life but in general they are there due to the fact the main signal can't be seen in enough time for us to react to it. In the case of East midlands Parkway the most likely reason would probably the curvature and canopy making the signal harder to see.

Very quiet today. Just wondered if there was any news on the hotfix? Very keen to see the improvements.

This is the approach to East Midlands Parkway on the down fast. It's easy to see the curve and the shelter blocking any signals ahead Screenshot_20230620-124358.png

Ahh that's really cool, I genuinely thought bug because I've not seen that before.
West Midlands don't have that luxury ;)

It is at the position where a main signal is hard to be seen.
Do revise a signal assisting it?

All installed along the line is without lights. The present situation is a decoration of the without lights.

A very nice scenario from Marcsharp on MML, Syston Shunter, instructed to travel at 15 miles an hour allows full enjoyment of the Messrs Jetwash and Bescot foliage EP.

Yes, I did his scenario Class 31 down to the power plant (can’t recall exact name). Very enjoyable. Nice work Marc.
I had wanted to do Duff to Nottingham (which has very good reviews on the forum here) but it required the Somerset DLC which is the only UK DLC I don’t own grrrrr!

I have a 1gb download on Steam for TSW3 so hopefully this is it.

Edit: Apparently just an update for SEHS, the wait for missing files continues....

Yeah I added the WSR 47 and stock on a Railtour as wanted something different to break up BR Blue but I may remove it.

Quick question, if I do remove it will it be removed for everyone or do I have to re-upload it?

I swear I must be cursed. Every time I try to get back into this route it crashes. This must be the third time I've had to put the details on this thread, and the game has crashed many more times before that, shortly after it released.

I'm pretty sure this route crashes more often than it doesn't. Is anyone else on PS5 also having these issues?

This time it was service 1D07, 0829 St Pancras to Nottingham. I set the service to dynamic weather, month to March with Lightning Storm weather. Game crashed after passing Syston. At least this time it didn't crash towards the end of the service like my last two attempts to play this route.

Nope, you are not alone (PS5 here as well)

Did ask the question if we can expect stability fixes in the patch due out but no reply. Probably got missed as this thread turned into a Cesspit over the weekend

You can't mod on console. Never have been able to, that's up to the developer.

Good evening Jane, I just noticed this when I accidentally went on the outside camera at Leicester. Sorry if you already know about it and if not sorry for adding more to your long list. I would put it down to driving under the influence but well the pubs would have been very busy the night before.

that driver is going to get a ticket!
Unfortunately, moving traffic isn't down to us. It is part of the core sim code. I will pass to DTG though!

I think this is indeed a core issue. Those floating cars are all over the sim. MZK (or was it MKZ?) seems to be especially "blessed" with it. And that rusty Mercedes (190?) can be found even at the US desert routes like Cane Creek or Sherman Hill.
even on NID they are floating in some areas, and that means TSG wasn´t able to correct it.

Haha yes! Oh, I never realised that one, at least it leaves more space on your list! ;)
Sorry to ask another question (I will sound like a broken record with it too) but are there any plans to adjust the GCR's new bridge over the MML at Loughborough as the rest of Loughborough is looking really nice:

I hadn't even noticed it was floating! The issue I saw was that it were on the wrong side of the road!

great pics Matt!! Short answer is yes, but not in the hotfix (as its not art related) but we have plans for further scenery enhancements in the future primary patches. We are a long way from done.

Thanks! That's good to here, I wouldn't have expected it in the hotfix but very glad to here there are more scenery improvements to come. This route has very quickly become my 3rd most driven!

Ha, it's now blindingly obvious to me it's floating, so I've no idea how i didn't see that in the first place too.

jane-skyhook , what non priority fixes do you have planned for this latest release? I mean GSMR being implemented in the HST, is that being arranged? Also, are you implementing the guard system in the HST (like it operates on the 158)?

I have checked the sound distance from the GWE HST and the sound ambience lasts far longer after the train has passed, could those profiles be used for future implementation please?

That was the background of the intended pun. If they push the "F" out of "LeFt" why not taking, say, the "I" out of "RhIne" (LIS), or the "C" out of "StreCke" (LRC). But now, is it Mainz - Koblenz (MZK) or Mainz - Koblenz (MKZ)? This is so messed up just like the whole DLC. Anyway, it´s so dumb that I refuse to use that acronym...

I have to say that I already enjoy driving the route after the first patch and that many small things have already been fixed. I'm happy about that, because the two vehicles on the track are still really great.

So thanks for all the effort to keep improving the DLC. I was rather disappointed at first, but now I'm positive about the future.

I enjoy the route too, visually it is one of the most interesting, the scenery is lovely, certainly want to travel to Germany to enjoy the real thing when I can. I also enjoy driving the older German trains. I certainly don't think the route is messed up. I am still getting used to German signalling and safety systems and still use the helper so maybe some issues don't affect me so much.
