I’m guessing BML & SEHS updates are to accommodate the class 700? I wonder what could be happening on TVL?

I’m really into TVL at the moment. Can’t wait to see what’s happening with it.:)

Hvae they fix the rear door problem on the class 377 where you could not close it on BML in this Patch just asking?

The notes are linked above, but the BML patch is:

    London Commuter
    • Fixed an issue with wagons not loading on 6O47 services.

Could be a minor, behind-the-scenes change.

Nice to see a 33 rail tour using the mk1s as well as a bunch of other railtour stuff. The routes getting so diverse now it's pretty cool to see!

Maybe the slight update to TVL is getting ready for Glossop as the 20 layers in as a railtour I believe?

Now that is a possibility. Maybe the JT release is closer than we think?

Like I said in another thread I think after Glossop we'll be bombarded with JT route info: I reckon release will be mid to maybe late July.

To be honest, I'm getting tired of "patch notes" not relating the entire contents of the patch. As in, if a line of code anywhere was changed, it should be in the notes.

Perhaps it's enabling substitution on the 2-car 101 services for the forthcoming JT Pacer.

Why use the SoS mk1s? They are on BR1 bogies so 90mph max. No BR1 bogies have ran iirc on the mainline since the early 90s. The WSR ones have commonwealth which are far more likely.

Interesting idea. Can someone look into the files and figure out if that’s the case?

Even though it isn't today's one:

The 7th June patch notes didn't mention about Nahverkehr Dresden's new freight scenario planner paths oddly ;)

About to check it out. Wonder if the Mark Ones have been reskinned into Blue and Grey.

As regards B1 bogies, there was still stock kicking about with these in the mid-80's but you might be right about the 90's and certainly not by the era of SEHS.

Technically the bg coachesare used with the b4 bogie. It was rather rare to have commonwealth mounted. I found the type drawing of them, but havent seen a single pic of that.

Many of the Mark Ones on the WCML, the later build with the lime green partitions and smaller headrests on the seats, were Commonwealth bogie fitted. Used to get these regularly on the "Master Cobbler" commuter trains from Northampton to Euston and vv in the late 70's and early 80's. They were very smooth riding compared to the B4's fitted to other late build Mark Ones and the Mark Two's which were notorious for "hunting" (rapid lateral shimmy) on the pounded track of the WCML of that period.

Well I am enjoying the thrash on the main line even if, coming back to our earlier discussion about Oakville, the first scenario is padded with a couple of wait until... commands.

However the layer just makes me wish even more that DTG would do a proper period route for a blue 33 and some B/G Mark Ones to run where they were in day to day operation.

Well the first scenario appears to be broken...
Uncouple from the 5 Mark Ones, which I've done, instruction persists.
Pulled the loco forward just in case, instruction persists.
Cannot proceed any further with scenario.
    Was this tested?
DTG JD to the front line please.

Edit: Well after about a 30 second wait the instruction cleared and I've got the next step, but seems a little borked.

Five mark 1's? Has anyone at DTG seen a railtour?

This one now waiting a relief driver as I just had a Cat A SPAD during the run round…
My fault entirely, was hooning the Crompton back towards the Up Platform at Sittingbourne and completely missed the GPL at red. Mrs Vern now arranging tea and biscuits. Well, grapes and chocolate milk for supper. Will try again later.

Railtours are for the purpose of running vintage gear- and usually at slow speeds.

(Besides, I'm not sure a 33 could do over 90)

B4s and mk1s did and still do shimmy at speed.

Many BGs carried Commenwealths and BR1s into the 1990s until the RES super BG conversions came in which mainly sat on B4 bogies.

BR1 bogies on passenger vehicles only on preserved lines iirc.

Cromptons are limited to 85 and they did actually have a mechanism to cut the engine if they are under power over 85 but 33/2s did not have this as there was not enough space.
