Can we have a status update on the trophy/achievement fixes for TSW2?

Odd and very reminiscent of TSW2020 that you’ve decided to stop mentioning them in the roadmap. DTG JD I know you’ve been keeping us updated with these in the other thread, but if not you, someone needs to assure us it’s still actively being worked on.

 

I just want to say that is very refreshing and reaffirming to see a roadmap that is mainly focused on fixes to existing content.

Or CSX livery. I seriously doubt that there's anything still running in Conrail paint after almost 30 years.

 

That one Caboose assigned to the ME-2 is owned by the CSAO, it's still Conrail, and it was just recently repainted.

Conrail still exists as CSAO, the CSAO still owns that Caboose, they just don't own any of their own locomotives, which is why they use NS and CSX locomotives.

 

Big W's for CSAO that they repainted the caboose into the "heritage" Conrail scheme!

 

I'm just afraid the taggers will get to it at some point and tagged it up again. But they did do a good job restoring it from its previous state.

 

Wait, now you got me a bit confused. You will show the guard mode in the preview stream, but it will NOT be in Glossop?

No he's talking about the way someone suggested guard mode could be tweaked. The guarding scenario will be part of Glossop.

 

How damn long is this TSW2 situation gonna drag on?? Each month its another excuse.

 

DTG is doing the same thing they did with the Cement Circle Achievement in TSW 2020 now in TSW 2.

First a patch was promised, repeated by none other than the community manager, but now he has suddenly become very quiet ...

The Achievement Hunter trusted you again after TSW 2020 when you fixed Cement Circle after more than a year of fighting for it. This trust you have destroyed again with this action.

It can not be that we have to beg that a basic functionality that represents a developer rule on the Xbox is made. If you didn't want to fix the Achievement, then just delete it like other developers do. It's just a matter of making all the Achievements in the game accessible.

 

Achievements and trophies for our Playstation friends on here. But yeah this is getting ridiculous. September 23 is getting closer and that means that DTG is about cross a new low. A two year low. Sigh.

(EDIT) The Northern class 323 is getting included with the route and it's the current white and blue livery.

 

Personally I don’t see why tsw2 is still getting updates and support- when tsw2 launched, there was no further support or updates for tsw2020, so I don’t get why it’s different this time

 

They’re still supporting TSW2 because when it launched they reeled off a whole list of things they hope to fix/improve with it, and since then they still haven’t delivered it all. This includes a few trophy/achievement fixes along the way. All we expect of them is to actually come through with what they committed to before announcing TSW3, it’s not like we want all newly discovered issues fixed.

And they did fix the single outstanding broken trophy on TSW2020 after TSW2 had launched and been out for months.

 

They updated every* TSW2020 route and loco to TSW2, at no cost to the customer. That was a massive cartload of support (and the reason Adam's team was created).

Finally, guard signal’s and AI interaction on the 158. I wish it would come on ALL routes!

 

Yes the guard's buzz, buzz on the 158 is such a big immersion builder.

It's probably the vectron because with the last update they Added a Loco, model that was named Vectron

 

Bro the 230 and 180 is to old. We get the vectron 193 probably because with the last update a model got added to the game that was named Vectron.

 

OK then and for the Vectron it needs alt paint Schemes like the Austrian 1293 MRCE Black and DB Verkehrsrot. Another choice is the DB Baureihe 183 Neu Taurus III. In neighbouring Austria it's called ÖBB Baureihe 1216

 

i have not got the Class 33 until i own West Somerset Railway

 

I think the addition of a prototype guard mode is exciting. I hope it catches on and comes to other routes. I'd especially like to see it on American routes. I'd like the opportunity to switch from driving to being conductor. (Of course, the door controls need to operate properly for it to really work well.)

 

Joethefish Will the csx's be driveable or have you not tried them with and without hud yet?

 

I had no intention of getting TSW3 (was going to wait for TSW 4 and miffed at TSW 2 no getting fixes). But after watching 'British Ace's' stream I think I will give a closer look when this comes out, end of month? The addition of a guard move is a real positive move in the right direction imo and could it lead to a career mode one day?

Guard mode on the 1938 stock would have been good. If it works as intended I'll certainly take a look.

 

Can we expect news before the roadmap?

 

Very well deserved Joe. Really appreciate all the hard work as always. This will be an epic timetable . Can wait until it comes out.

 

Not sure what fixes are in the pipeline for BBO but this route still has huge issues, especially loading a saved game.

Picked up a part finished run earlier and road traffic is still ignoring the car stoppers at level crossings and going through the barriers.

Run came to a shuddering halt after departing Hede (sp) with a queue of trains ahead stood at red signals not moving.

 

quite a few bugs with general train set up, like headlights and PIS for Ai, and the extremely bright taillights I noticed the last time I was on the route.

 

Don't forget to add the PIS of the cab car that resets itself if we're talking about BRO. Opened a ticket for each issue and it was said its gonna be investigated though. But those are so obvious issues that shouldnt happen in the first place.

Me too. And its so funny sometimes as these issues seem so trivial to fix actually. Like the PIS in the cabcar was working at first, only it was a little desynchronized. Then they synchronized it and it suddenly starts going blank after 30 or what seconds. The HRR BR425's head and taillights were working fine too.

 

Actually, can someone tell me whats meant by the BR110/103's wipers now working correctly?
Haven't really noticed any difference to how it was before..

 

it was , but the rule was brought back like 6 years ago after someone got hurt riding on the side of a car during reverse. if the freight has to reverse (local move), a caboose or second engine should be at the rear.

 

Also, too bad it appears one of the Class 47 Railtour (Southeastern Highspeed) runs, starts, and immediately ends due to “Signal Passed at Danger”. All before the train even moves.

 

There was a rod at the wiper of the 103 which disconnected if the wiper was moving to the left. After the fix it stays connected to the position at the wiper where it is intended to be.

If you have a suggestion for a particular US route that fits with the type of DLC DTG make, post a detailed and reasoned proposal in the Suggestions forum.

 

I rather them fix the existing ones 1st before releasing more unpolished US DLC.
