Glad to see a new update... was hoping the bass fighting improvements was in this update (slightly to moderately disappointing) Will hold out and hope it's in the next update. If I'm not mistaken is the next update March 12th? or is there no set date for that particular update? Thanks for all the continued game fixes and improvements & support. -Omni
The bass fighting changes weren't ready for this update so they were pushed back in to the next one. We don't have a fixed date yet but will be aiming for around mid-March.
I'm finding that the newly added predator fish do not count during the preditor challenge. I hope they consider fixing the issue. In a session of preditor challenge yesterday I caught dozens of gar and muskey only to be denied. Seems like they need to tone the catch rate down a bit. Muskey are known as..a fish of 10,000 casts. Not in this game..lol. Awesome game by the way. Best angler game on the market by far. Thanks Hard to believe this is not a predator..lol.
hey stephen whats the trophy size for a muskie on lake boulder? i have caught muskie upto 47 pound but cant get a trophy size :s. Pretty sure a 40 pound plus muskie is a trophy fish.
If you mean the weekly online tournaments then last weeks tourny's started before the update was released which is most likely why they weren't counting. No doubt they'll count next time there's a predator tourney on one of the U.S. lakes. I was catching loads of Gar & Muskie while doing that as well.
Trophy muskie start at around 52lbs. What Daft Badger said. We didn't add in the new species because the tournament started before they were added in. Future predator tournaments will count muskie, tiger muskie and longnose gar.
How big do the Gar get in Bolder? Can anyone let me know? Also the updated species have got me back to fishing the US waters where I had got a little bored of Bass (Not being from the US or that interested in Bass fishing particularly). For the game to thrive the species keep needing to be added across all waters. Cheers!
This is the best fishing game I’ve played by far and I love the bass fishing, I’ll start off by saying that. Newb question though, Is there a Florida lake and I’m just not seeing it? Cause Florida bass are world class, you can trace just about any large bass DNA in the US back to Florida waters. Also I have one thing that could be fixed, the hand placement of the avatar on the reels, especially bait caster reels, it just looks cheesy, I feel it could be improved, with how awesome the game is that’s a small complaint, but I noticed it right away.
