Is This The Smoking Gun Pointing To Tsw4?

Going to chip in and give my thoughts.

it’s quite simple, I don’t really want to see a TSW4 until at least 2-3 years from now, the concentration should be on making the best TSW3 can be. Theirs no need to abandon this iteration. Their is a need to work on getting it in higher condition.

 

Agreed, although to add I'd like to see a lot more great, older routes get upgraded to TSW 3 standard regarding features, timetable update and TOD 4 etc too.

 

You might be surprised if you go back to the original release of Railworks...

 

The big change I think we will see in thr next year or so is a lot of people selling kid eats for new graphics cards and consoles

I remember railworks days, was quite similar to how TSW is right now

 

We could do with some clarity from DTG, with the Steam Summer Sale due to start this week, I’m torn between whether to buy a couple of back catalogue items with my Wallet credit, or hang on to the funds for whatever the big summer new package is going to be.

 

I think DTG doesn't want us to have that clarity, because it may lead us to buying less. But I'm in the same boat as you. However, whatever the summer new package is going to be, it'll likely be on a discount in a future sale, so there should be no rush.

 

Well most of my potential sale purchases are now in the would be nice to have/completionist category, like BCC or Lucerne, rather than must have.

 

I still have a few in the "I really want this but the price tag is a tad too high"-category, and a few in the "not really hyped about this but I want a new toy to play with"-category. :P

Lets hope there's some good discounts in the Summer Sale

 

I too nearly furnished dtg with some more money and what made me stop....

1- I've stopped buying everything due to the issues so I'm more selective.
2- Steam sale in 3 days
3- Id rather put £40 on a new pack of routes rather than £30 on one

 

Whatever may be released later this summer, I've for some time now not bought any route until after at least the first patch is out (exception: Niddertalbahn), so I might as well see what goes on sale right now.

 

The OP's FB post is probably less of a suggestion of TSW4 and more of a new ownership trying to drum up business.
