The DOOR INTERLOCK light's state is only updated (or even evaluated) on a reverser change. So if I stop with reverser forward, then open the doors, the DOOR INTERLOCK light will remain blue until I change the reverser to neutral, at which point it updates to red. If I close the door, the light will remain red until I change the reverser again. This is repeatable all the time. You can also set the doors opening/closing, then change the reverser as the doors are opening/closing and the light won't change when the doors finish opening/closing. You have to change the reverser again for the light to update, hence why I believe it is only updated/evaluated on a reverser change. Hope this is an easy fix for you!
