I think this is from the existing Luzern Surzee route unless I am mistaken

Interesting indeed. Are these urban or long distance units? (Switzerland to me is still Re4/4's, Ae6/6's and Krokodil's). Clip is enigmatic, looks like a depot so could be just about anywhere.

This is the Sadler FLIRT that is in Luzern. Wonder why they are posting a brand new video of it.

Rivet always makes little posts and videos about their existing content. I'll often see their Instagram page post something like "can you guess what THIS train is?" and it's just the Class 150 or something. They just like to make the occasional post promoting their own content sometimes. Nothing too deep to look into.

Rivet often make videos about old content, personally I wouldn’t look too much into this unless something is announced on the roadmap

I imagine they are making a new route at the moment but as said above they often post videos and photos of already released content.

Well I just grabbed the Sursee route in the sale and yes I think the depot in the video is simply that at Luzern.

The 523 is a strange beast to drive, can't see if there's a means of operating just with the throttle and not using the VSoll lever as well.

Of course it could be Rivet are extending the route to Olten or even Basel, perhaps with a new loco hauled consist.
Now that would be nice and one could argue what the route should have been from the outset.

Well I would imagine that the next Rivet route will be a Swiss one, there formula seems to be 1 British, 1 Swiss, 1 British, 1 Swiss etc...

They've been working on back catalogue stuff, so I suspect they have revamped the sound?

On the Rivetgames forum Japser told me:
„Hmm - a Swiss route you say...? We'll see what we can do, but nothing to announce yet.“

But that doesn’t mean they are not working on one; a while back Jasper said they would like to improve their skills regarding mountains and other scenery; maybe that’s why it has been quiet around them for a few months now?
And also: Regarding their past releases they always alternated: British, Swiss, British,…; and now it would be a Swiss turn again!

  17. I got the Luzern route on special last year or this year and am really impressed with it. I want to see another one!
Saying that I got WCL on release and I didn't get into it.
I do like the Riviera line, I'm not sure Rivet or DTG did that..... (TSC).

The Luzern Sursee route is absolutely glorious!! 10/10. Maybe a little light on scenery at the lake but it doesn't bother me. The buildings and scenery objects are excellent!!!

Personally I hope we get another narrow-gauge RhB route traversing the mountains. Rivet created quite a few for TSC, so I hoped more would follow after the Arosabahn got into TSW.

If they do anything next it should be the RhB "main line" from Chur to St Moritz, though the Bernina Line from St Moritz and Samedan down to Tirano would also be a Day 1 purchase, especially if set pre-Allegra days.

That's the Albulabahn isn't it? I have fond memories of that route in TSC. Would certainly be interested in a TSW version.

Oh agreed, that's a pretty impressive line as well. I think I bought all the RhB add-ons for TSC back in the day, I simply couldn't get enough of them.

Correct. IIRC though it started at Thusis rather than running all the way into Chur. Ah, such memories of the wonderful breakfast at the Hotel Drei Konige!
