Certain the JT route picture is the Coote lane Bridge on the Preston to Ormskirk Branch.

Well in all honesty not the most exciting roadmap, but does confirm a JT route in the Blackpool area with a Pacer unless someone recognises that coupling from another mechanical DMU.

Some interesting stuff on this one, but I have to say that the 700 sounds are too fast and high pitched

US Gameplay and Livery Pack from Skyhook games?

I'm predicting a Norfolk Southern Heritage Pack for Horseshoe Curve, with ES44AC's and SD70ACe's
    1377801553600.jpg

I just HOPE Skyhook adds the Isolated cab that DTG never bothered to add to the BNSF version as all the NS Heritage SD70ACe's are ISO cabs.
    savannah_and_atlanta_ns_heritage.jpg

Also it better not be a half butt product like the UP pack was......

"During the testing window, we’ve identified some difficulties with performance on certain consoles (specifically Xbox Series S) with all the new services being added to Southeastern High Speed. As a result, we will be providing a full timetable, and a smaller, less memory-demanding timetable, which will mainly remove some static stock and less-visible AI services.
Players will have the smaller timetable by default in Journey Mode, and the option to try the more memory-intensive timetable in the services menu!"

Is this smaller timetable just for lower spec consoles or for everyone? If its the latter then why is the PC and higher spec consoles being held back?

Really looking forward to the Class 700 and thanks for producing a manual. Sounds do seem a little off and I'm hoping they've captured the sound of the air releasing as the brakes are released as that's the main sound I associate with this stock.

Based on the roadmap, I take it we can rule out a big summer release like we've seen in previous years?

Definitely not, it’s only July and the summer release might arrive later this year. Rush hour wasn’t fully released until October

Don’t think so, as they said: “Work is going on on stuff behind the scenes”- that’s why the roadmap is shorter this time

It appears there is no indication on the Big Three summer routes from this month's roadmap. I thought there would be an indication for another US passenger route

700 is lower in price this time around. I joined tsw when it was only $19.99 so surprised to see it's only $16.99

Ok so the BR187 sounds improvement went from “red light” to “in development”. Is it gonna stay this way or like a rollercoaster switching between “red light” and “taking care of”, it’s been nearly 2 years we’re tired of this.

    Interesting roadmap!
    • I for sure expected a full reveal of the German loco and Just Trains route, but it seems they’re heading for the August-September timeframe as there’s absolutely no news on the German loco and work to do on the Just Trains route & train.
    • We’re either getting a big surprise with the summer pack or not getting any big summer release at all. Although I think the first option is more likely, as there’s no upcoming DTG route in the roadmap at all and they’re surely working on multiple ones behind the scenes.
    • Other than that… not much to say? No new reveals apart from the USA Gameplay pack (which will probably be as (un)popular as the Sherman Hill pack unless some cool passenger stuff is included).
    • Good to hear the Niddertalbahn patch (that was finished like half a year ago) is finally close to release. And hopefully the fix for the Peninsula & Oakville issues passes QA this time around.
I guess this is truly the calm before the storm. Expecting big things later in July and August. A little tease wouldn’t hurt, you’ve got to create anticipation within the community somehow…

I think that is because of the omission of the /1 Variant, and only giving us the 8 Car varient, well it's a decent value for money all things considered, New Operator, New Train, 7 Scenarios and AC/DC functionality. I'm surprised that this Loco went down in Price instead of the usual 22.99

That and the references to a "roller coaster ride" - though interestingly they appear to be implying that there may be legal issues with including Pleasure Beach.

I didn’t “get that” impression when reading it. I thought it was just a clue as to the location, nothing more. I highly doubt they would reference/imply possible legal issues in announcements.

Maybe they should have skipped a month lol.

The JT info is good to see though.

DTG have GOT to be working on something big, right?

I still think TSW4 is more likely than not

Ormskirk to Blackpool is certainly a curve ball if true. Just wondering what (if any) through workings existed during the likely time period the route set. Seems to leave their BR Classic billing a bit up in the air though as no freight along that section, just a DMU shuttle so the only loco hauled action is going to be Preston to Blackpool North.

Otherwise a very low key roadmap. Many of us were hoping for at least a clue as to what might be brewing for the summer but guess we will have to wait and see.

Class 700 looks nice but sounds like an electric car. The MML destinations clear for all to see are definitely a hint or clue to what might be coming... or maybe not. We shall see.

But journey mode (the mode I & many others play predominately) is on the quiet one, if this is just for low spec consoles thats a good compromise. If they are holding back the whole game just for low spec consoles then thats not a good sign for the future of the title IMO.

700 sounds more like a class 350 in its shift at 28mph when it should sound more like a 450. I don’t understand how that happened when AP’s 700 pack got it right

Not within Journey mode though, in there it’s a cutback TT only, and it’s not clear if this is the case for everyone or not.

Based on the riveting and the grey panel seen next to the Br logo in the preview image, it looks like we're getting a class 142 Pacer in British Rail livery.

There was some through Ormskirk to Blackpool South trains late 80s to early 90s spring to mind. I'm hoping they get the loco hauled shunts right at North. Propel back, run round and propel back again.

Yep, I would come clean now if I was producing this route. It's pretty obvious now unless they want to be able to make some changes to the scope what is being created.

I hope DTG have something special coming soon, because this roadmap is the most boring one in a long time, at least for me. There's no way DTG are only working on the 700 (practically done by now) and a German locomotive.

I've got nothing but contempt for Pacers, thanks to having to use them my entire life up until a couple of years ago, so I'll give the new JT route a miss. Unless it's not a Pacer of course, but being a BR route it would have to have something special for me to be interested.

Don't think much of the MML update, parts of it don't work (again), and there's nothing about improving stability on PS5, which is by far the most important issue to fix.

Anyone else noticed that the 700/0 is £12.99 compared to the Acela's £14.99?

I'll stick my neck out as a bit of speculation and say that this is because a 700/1 is coming as part of the big summer release (my bet would be on Cambridge - Blackfriars w/ Classes 700/1, 387, 80x).

Given the MML destinations, I'm still going with my original sweepstake prediction it will be Bedford to Blackfriars.

Bedford to Blackfriars is what I think too. They'll go for a hybrid HST/700/377 meaning no new stock needed for the route. Though a 222, 319 or 360 would be appreciated.
