What did you guys think about the stream? did anyone catch any hints for incoming content. The only thing I notice was mentioned of core improvements and on the roadmap they mentioned they are waiting for a Core Dispatcher improvement. So sounds similar to last year bakerloo timetable
I thought the discussion on how patches are handled (esp. with respect to console certification) was useful for people to hear. I mentioned in another thread (I think the MML feedback one) that updates on console are very much not straightforward, and everything they said was in-line with what I know of the process. Not excusing issues at launch, of course - but the more insight folks are given to the way it works, the better in my view, Slightly sad not to get some hints of what is coming in the big summer update, but at least we know that's a definite for the August roadmap (if indeed there is one). I also think what we got from JT this month means that we're possibly seeing a September release for that route (ie, finish detail work in July, QA and beta in August, cert in early Sept perhaps).
I might be reading to much into it but did anyone notice how Matt and JD did their July stream together in the same room with not much in the background. ........ It has been a while since they've done a stream together. DTG JD was that done on purpose. Making sure nothing got out. lol
It's was a very light roadmap in terms of new content, but definitely an interesting one which I enjoyed watching.
Nothing on purpose! Being honest, Matt and I were in training in the office all day and I stayed for the Roadmap stream. With the update yesterday, and Roadmap article being a little later, we ran out of time on the production side of things as it was all a little - busy. Hence the slightly wonky camera angle and *interesting* lighting. Glad some of you found the conversations interesting though.
JD good poker face........ but yea good stream. NYT has to be one of the most complex timetables in the game. Seems it has been in works since probably early in the year
