I think we need a class 50 adding to the West Cornwall Local Route .The class 50 was an iconic loco on this route for at least 25 years so it dosn't feel like west Cornwall without them ? People seem interested in getting the loco added atm so hopefully we will get it soon
Great suggestion mate, though I'd like to see them come with an Exeter to Plymouth and Paignton route and then be layered onto WCL.
Thanks for the reply .Yes we definitely need a class 50 it could be used between Paddington and Reading as well so not just on the WCL A lot of people seem to be interested in including it but I can't see anything happening at the moment. Could be waiting a long time LOL
Gets my vote with maybe a 40 mile section of the Basingstoke to Exeter line to run on. Get the era right and a 33 repainted blue could add the recycled layer.
A blue class 33 would be good . I've seen double Headed class 33's work on the Waterloo to Exeter services so that would be a nice addition
For GWE and DLoGW the dates don't line up. They arrived in the mid 70s so we're not around in 1971 or 2015.
I would like to see it set in the early 80s seperate from WCL so that we could have accurate layers from other BR blue stock in game, the peaks on XC services jumps at me straight away.
I was thinking more of a scenario version of the game using just the class 50's out of Paddington if you can excuse the overhead wires .I know the 50's were on the WCML at first then moved in the Mid 70's your wright .I should have been more clear
Are we the only ones who like the BR blue days LOL I don't think Dovetail are fans of this Era either. I Wish we could have back the Loco hauled services there are too many units these days , I do like some units tho ,but i don't want to have one on nearly every service
If we get a 50, which I hope we do one day, I hope we get a suitable route for it. One could layer in on WCL but I think personally the route is too incomplete. Also, the time the route supposedly set is really after the 50's had been withdrawn or certainly when the few remaining were on Exeter to Waterloo duties.
Thanks for your reply yes big cab windows unlike some of the units that you can barely see out of the window . They sound great as well hopefully we will get one added soon
Another name for them the Hoover fits GWML Legends and we have BR Northeastern Region Growler Gronk Chopper Gargoyle and Daisy TVL followed by BR Southern Region 313/2 Milk Float.
