    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has had issues with signalling on the Met Line. I know the signalling on this route is slightly different however I've noticed in a few scenarios that I keep encountering red signals usually on approach to transit or terminal stations. I've waited at these reds for quite a while before without change and have been able to pass via the signaler however this is usually succeeded by several more reds that then trigger the tripcock.

Case in point, I had this issue last night playing an Uxbridge to Aldgate run with a string of reds on approach into Baker Street.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any solutions would be appreciated
    Cheers!

By the way, have you played the tutorial scenario described in the S7+1 manual?

There's some information in this thread that might help, a video and a downloadable diagram showing speed limits and approach controlled signals: [Just Trains] Metropolitan Line out now! - JustTrains - Rail-Sim.de - Die deutsche Train Simulator Community Armed with that info i was able to complete the scenario in question, and others, successfully. There's another guide that is part of the scenario pack uploaded to UKTS that might still be available: Atomic Systems - View Topic - Metropolitan Line Rush Hour Pack 2015 - 1-1 (uktrainsim.com)

Yeah, I think the signalling is correct - it's just you must know how it works.

    What a strange signal system!
Does the train speed up and slow down all the time?

Thank you Torfmeister, I hadn't cottoned onto the approach signal system hence why I'm hitting all those reds! I'll have another look through the manual. Cheers!

The speed control signals on the Met are quite frustrating. It’s some years since I travelled on the Met (A60 stock days) or indeed the Circle Line but I never recall getting slowed down to the walking pace the route enforces.

It is an underground system with stations close together so trains have to speed up and slow down.
Same as any underground system in most european countries

This route has faulty points at Uxbridge so any scenario ending there on a certain platform will have you stopped at a signal stuck at red. You can edit those scenarios to use the other platform to fix that.

Here is a video that explains approach signalling on the Metropolitan Line route:
