If you stand next to an NPC holding an umbrella while it's raining, you'll hear the pattering of raindrops hitting the fabric. Cheers
A tiny but quite little thing I have not noticed on Sand Patch Grade before, this traffic light is actually animated and changes colors periodically. Considering it's right besides the tracks, it's a nice little touch.
It was meant as sarcasm but the fact you say it's fixed when that was yesterday suggests it not fixed.
I understood the sarcasm. I'm genuinely surprised this bug still is there though, I hadn't encountered it since they claimed it to be fixed. Did you file a bug report?
Yeah CSX:HH has a lot of nice little detail compared to other routes, considering it was developed alongside the game. It also had working level crossings in the original TSW. It got removed in TSW 2, then SEHS got working level crossings with new tech, and it later got backported onto SPG.
The installations under the n-cars, especially the KE GPR-A brake installations, in the Bremen Oldenburg DLC, and the sockets and cables connecting the locomotive, cars and cab car, deserve a lot of praise in my humble opinion. Whoever did that: Thank you, good job! Things like this don't go unnoticed! There is even a "Regelbares Lastbremsventil" (RLV) with a tag: More can be seen in my video. Maybe someone knows why the UIC-cable connectors are marked with a red cross on white sockets (I only know, thanks to OpenMinded , white sockets with a red bar on them)?
Don’t know how many people found this before me, but you can sit on a tree branch at Lindheim on Niddertalbahn. Lovely touch, that
To the left of the first one it's actually the brake selector handle I was able to complete a service using Langer Lok LL setting on N-wagen do that 40 minutes both ways
Found on NID: detailed and animated mechanical rail locks at Stockheim yard. If this has been posted already, please accept my apologies. It just struck me because it tells a lot about the efforts and love to detail from the developers.
Have never been on a Northern service, but I really like the small stickers found inside 323 passenger saloon:
On some units of the WMR class 323 you can hear slight rattling sounds coming from the cab door, which get louder and more intense when driving faster. This isn't the case in all of the trains, but appears to be on specific units. It really adds to the sense of speed and immersion since the trains are 30 years old and some of them might have some loose hinges on their doors.
Thank you so much for sharing that! Took me right down memory lane to a lovely trip around Darlington
Cool detail with the old northern logo (non-capitalized letters). Probably quite realistic as gradually changing the numerous stickers in all units must be very time-intensive.
Yep Northern have had those stickers in every coach of every train they have since they began pretty much. I've always thought it's a quirky and passenger friendly way of doing it. My local bus company have done similar things in this area to try and connect with the public They have created a new livery/identity with around 20 or so slightly different themes for the Sheffield and Doncaster areas that local people can relate to..... These two are a couple of examples.... One just before a new livery was revealed and the other is one of the "spare" buses used to fill in when others are being serviced etc..... ****Apologies for going sort of off-topic****
Does give away the Twitter account for Northern Rail https://twitter.com/northernassist?t=7dwQyM1nxTMONskc36tR4Q&s=09 That will also apply to the northern rail versions of 150/2 158 if made
When you apply the wipers when the windscreen is dry your hear a "squeeking noise" in the Glossop 323
Peak Forest route has passengers sitting and reading a newspaper. When they switch pages, you can clearly hear the cracking of the paper.
Makes me wonder. Why does not every church do that in game? A clock with bells should be a standard asset for churches
Sure but I'm baffled by being it a detail. You would think a church bell with a timer would be a basic asset. I don't know how they start building assets but I would think you start with a basic asset for a church and build the church around it. That basic asset should be a church bell with a timer. But I don't know how you build these assets
Yeah I think it's just the base model church and then the sound is added afterwards, I don't think it's attached (or built) into the church model though, would explain why some have sound and but some don't, I might be wrong on that though as I'm not a dev lol.
Sorry for bumping but i noticed that the vectron will get the siemens logos which neither the BR 182 or ACS-64 have got on the interior or exterior
It's like the build plates on the SoS steamers, that's an amazing attention to detail (and Licencing point)
Has to be a negotiated Siemens license. Earlier German stock have blanked-out builder's plates, and the G6 omits the RL ones' very prominent "Vossloh."
While I don’t expect it to be the case going forward for now, it’s amazing to see manufacturers (and their IP) getting into TSW as well.
It's one of the things I love about EuroTruck, once one trailer firm had theirs added, now all of them are jumping on board. Hopefully the same will work for TSW.
I was playing the antelope valley line with the f125 and saw a switch on the backwall called the backup horn. If you press it, it actually changes the horn. From some comments I've read, it seems like the f125 has 2 horns in reality? Shows how dtg have gone the extra mile for the dlc
The remnant's of Southern Pacific's old Taylor yard are somewhat modeled on AVL. The former roundhouse. The later fuel racks and smaller turntable. (Hard to show due to high limit on cam) The yard in its last years (Post 1996 merger with UP)
I was messing around Hagen Gbf and for the first time I noticed that we actually have rail joints present, it would be great if they made a little sound as well..
rail joints should have been making sounds since day 1. they will now rumble your controller, and with the new suspension you'll feel them once that comes out.
I noticed this while at Peterborough station on the PIS, I swear this was done in real life but I can't find anything on it, either that or the E key got stuck while programming Stevenage into the PIS system lol
They should! But the issue is that many rolling stock are just missing rail joint sounds Best example that comes to my mind are the Clinchfield Railroad rolling stock. The freight cars produce joint sounds as going over the track, but the locomotives themselves roll over them completely silent. Such a let down.
