Xbox Performance

Currently playing on an Xbox One and the performance on some routes is quite poor. Willing to invest in the latest gen model the Series X but keen to know if there would be an observable performance improvement? Anyone got feedback from the Series X?

 

The series consoles are far better yes. Most routes are a steady 60fps.

 

I play on Series X and it’s generally pretty smooth at 4K with occasional dips at certain points on certain routes. It has an optional HD (presumably 1080p) option too which is flawless albeit with a noticeable drop in image quality.

 

No issues running on xbox X. in par with my PC

 

You will be happy with the Xbox X Highly recomend it. The only reason I got the PC was for TSC

 

Agree with all of the above, series x is a worthwhile investment.

I only got myself a Xbox series x yesterday but the main reason I got was it would work for future routes and can handle packed routes like London commuter where you have a ton of trains running at once which are difficult on older consoles.

 

The framerate on Xbox Series X is great. I play at 1080p (my TV set is very old) and I notice some drops just in big crowded stations with tons of passengers. The occasional stuttering is still there, but it's part of the game, on every platform. Some routes are more affected, but in general I can deal with it
