ffs I can’t believe this. Sorry torfmeister for being sceptical but I do now agree with you. In all seriousness do you think Janes wife is ill or will we never see Jane again on here. I feel worst for skyhook who are now going to suffer in reputation and need to clear up this mess. Does Jane even work for skyhook still?

To quickly dispel rumours. I am on sick leave and just seen all this discussion on me which to be honest as left me really upset.

I am indeed CTO at Skyhook. I am currently on compassionate leave with a VERY sick wife. The rumour mill has gone in to overdrive it seems.

My background is real and genuine and I shared court documents here. I have faced huge and significant trolling. I am currently not working whilst caring for my wife, so just dropped by to see how things were going and was shocked.

Adam and the rest of the team at SHG, I am sure are doing their best to sort out any issues with MML during my absence. The team have worked really hard and I am very proud of them.

I won't be giving any further statements or responses as I do actually need to look after my wife. I do keep looking in when I can as I care about MML and all of you guys. I hope to return to work in the near future.

The couple of pages I read were enough for me. I’m really disappointed, but hey, nothing I can do about it now.
Let’s hope DTG can save what could be a great DLC, if they can fix everything.

And as for said individuals, you can bash me all you like (as you most likely will) I've read through the evidence on both sides and my opinion has not changed, Jane is the one who I believe is telling the truth.

 

Any chance of telling us why both patches released have been very different between platforms in terms of what is working and what has been fixed. The first time you said there were missing files (disputed by DTG btw) so what happened this time? PC seems a more complete patch and there are many bugs still need fixing there too.

Guess I could have worded that more clearly. I wasn't referring to getting a patch as a whole, just wondering if the PC patch had some individual fixes that hadn't yet been put in the consoles' one.

That is correct, which means it isn't Jane's position that's being advertised.

 

While there has been some antagonistic behavior from individuals here, some of it does appear to be warranted.
With that said, what exactly have they done for us? Patches were promised since release, the patches have either not fixed many of the issues, including ones the change log listed as fixed, or made things worse, on top of being delayed.

No, there's no justification for that. As marcsharp2 says it's Pathetic and everyone who took part should be ashamed.
And the patches have came. Some issues persist however the main bugs and shortcomings of the DLC have been improved on.

Edit: It doesn't matter who the person is, antagonising them constantly and starting rumours is too far.

 

I tried to explain to this forum as mentioned above but no one listened and yes I know I don't work at DTG or SKG but if you guys want to talk about Roomer talk about them on a messaging app or something.

i cant believe how so many people are being taken in. This thread has become unprofessional and personal. It is not about individuals but about company performance. Jane has promised things on behalf of Skyhook that havent happened and skyhook have failed to deliver. They have also not responded in Jane's absence. The product is poor and no improvements are being offered. My guess would be that no further improvements will be made and that Jane makes no further appearance. Skyhooks silence to me indicates that they do not endorse Jane's comments. If they do now is the time for them to comment dont you think?

 

We haven't been taken in by anything and as for Skyhook being silent, that's nothing new.

 

Just like how Jane's legal evidence directly contradicts the flimsy pile of rubbish you seem to believe.

 

Aren't the things we are talking about aka the "Jane situation" ment to be in the off topic section of the forum, now I don't condone to talking about anyone but the things we are talking about aren't about TSW.

 

A lot of issues persist, especially on consoles where it is literally crashing the game, on a console. That's actually quite hard to do. It's not acceptable, at all. Especially months after product release.

If the actual moderators of the forum want the thread sorted out, they will do it. There is already a new feedback/bug reporting thread for MML created by DTG.

It's all connected. This thread was the original thread where Jane was active and where we were lead on about a big patch for MML where all the issues would be addressed. That patch never happened, and Jane and Skyhook are all quiet about the whole thing now. So discussing potential reasons as to why Skyhook has gone quiet is completely relevant to the thread topic in my opinion.

 

I don't mean the MML issues I mean the court case things what people are talking about.
Edit: and one more thing so your trying to tell me that DTG don't know about the court case on Jane and non of the DTG staff have replied to any of us about the court case on Jane.

 

I've seen numerous posts saying that DTG have taken over from SHG in regards to MML but I have yet to see from DTG themselves that they are actually committed to fixing the remaining issues with the route. Personally I couldn't give a rat's arse about JW's back story but I do want to know who will be fixing MML and more importantly, when. Ideally I would like to see a statement from DTG that there will be a follow up patch that will address the isues that SHG told us would be addressed.

 

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and allow them to defend themselves. The information in this thread about Jane is concerning if true, but I’d be completely open to hearing the other side of the story. The problem is that Jane, no one from Skyhook, and no one from DTG have provided any information as to what is going on at Skyhook. That itself is more telling than any court documents or news articles. Something is going on at Skyhook that they and DTG don’t want us to know about.

 

Maybe that MML was a scam and no effect was put in they were like "just do anything" and the fact they released the route in that state says a lot even IOW is a better route.

 

And the update both of them where broken and the lighting issues are still not fixed there's something fishy going on at SHG

I don't give 2 craps about anyones personal life, or the trailer trash trolls.

All I care about are the fixes to MML. And just as I say about DTG proof is in the pudding and that pudding is still giving me food poisoning.

Fix [EDIT - Jan - Language] or don't bother telling us anything unless your sure the patch A. Works. B. Is complete with all the fixes listed in documents. C And has a release date.

Here is an idea, why doesn't someone at DTG call aomeone at Skyhook to verify they received all the files they were supposed to before publishing the updates? Sounds like common sense to me.

I get DTG wants to give 3rd parties freedom to do what they do, but come on between what we have seen from SHG and Rivet in terms of quality for DLC has been terrible.

I think more oversight is needed for sure.

But the main developers releases haven't been much better either. Only 1 out of every 3 seem to be a smooth release.

As for the Jane bashers I'm certainly glad to see these perfect never make any mistake people out here making sure we all are aware of peoples past deeds.

Heck who deserves second chances right?

I couldn't care less about what players are saying against Jane. I don't care about all these accusations or past history whether true or not. Jane has already said his part and I don't think it's appropriate to intrude on someone's personal life, be hostile and make accusations. I don't care what the evidence says. The past is the past and I believe what Jane is saying is genuine. Would y'all like to be treated the same? Let's just follow each other around, documenting everything you do and post it on the forums shall we? If anyone thinks any of this is appropriate, then there's a serious problem. The forums isn't a place for that and anyone with a brain can figure that out. With all the toxicity, nobody wants to be on the forums and explains why dtg have to take breaks from the forums.

Anyways I'm glad that skyhook released a big patch at all. If skyhook really didn't care, then why would this thread be created in the first place. Skyhook could have just abandoned mml and not released a single patch to it. Except they released not just 1 but 2 patches so far. They gathered feedback from the players and improved on the route and I'm happy with it. Sure things don't work out. But that's just life. There's never going to be 100% perfection.

Kitboga is funny but ineffective, more for show. I recommend checking out Jim Browning. He's actually very skilled and is able to hack himself into CCTV and has helped shutting down many scamming offices.

Edit: Note that I have never addressed JW's private life - only his professional accounts - which to me and some others - do matter and are now directly related to MML and Skyhook.

 

Wow leave the forums for a few months and this is how toxic it's gotten.

Geez well away for another bunch of months for me. I have sanity to maintain and this is the third thread I read that goes incredibly off topic and toxic.

All I wanted to know was if we got any updates yet for the route but it seems we have not. Just more false promises. Maybe by Xmas.

If DTG lock this thread without providing an adequate explanation for what the heck is going on with MML and Skyhook, then it will only be fair to assume the things discussed here were partially true.

 

No ignorance going on here, we've read both sides of the story and we came up with our own conclusions on the matter, some of us believe Jane (like me for example) and some of us don't believe him and want to bash him unnecessarily (like you for example)

 

Well, at least they didn´t take it down within minutes like some weeks ago when DTG had their hands full to edit and delete all the posts referring to this disgusting story. I find this notable, to say the least. Maybe the lawyers, right now, have a field day to prepare some kind of statement. You can´t publish anymore anything other than juristically ironclad declarations. Great new world this has become. No morals in business anymore.
I´ve been fooled big time. And it is of no comfort that I wasn´t alone. I wanted to support what I thought to be a great recovery effort. MML Patch 2 put that to sleep. It is a *really bad* feeling, not pleasant at all.
Since I came into this sim world Eo2021 I´ve never experienced so many toxic encounters in a row. DTG with their legendary truth economy being no angels here as well!

I wanted to know more about this route. I wanted to find out what stuff is broken and what was fixed. Why is this topic not like other topics? What's up with all the conspiracy stuff and lawsuits? I know every route comes with some drama but I did not expect this sort of drama.
