I love playing the class 700 I bought it today. I noticed that the third Arcing Spark Effects wasn’t working even played it when it was raining. Still not working

 

Been playing for a few hours now, amazing loco overall. The only real criticism i have for it is the lack of AC transformer buzz when put into forward or reverse, but apart from that id give it a solid 8.5/10, maybe being a bit biased as it is one of my favourite trains

 

Very much like driving the 700, but I've noticed some issues such as traction motor sounds won't be heard when another 700 is in close proximity, and I'm not sure if this is intentional but the 700 has a lack of running sounds when at low speeds.

 

Would be amazing if we could get the Southeastern Super Pack, but without the route. I doubt that many brand-new players will invest big bucks to get so many loco DLCs along with the route without having ever touched the game. But I already own the route and would surely love to buy all the SEHS loco DLCs in one go to get the full experience!

I’m enjoying driving it especially the view from the cab. The detail is amazing.

 

Seems pretty good so far, I do wish that TMS, announcements & SDO were included though

 

What time will it be out on Steam? As it's not showing on the DLC page even after restarting Steam.

 

Loving the 700/0. Amazing work done to it. Please now we need it to get on it's own route A/C and he's bigger brother to join the party

The 700 is absolutely spot on, The absolute rare time where DTG actually learned from a previous mistake from Train Sim Classic, aka the Disaster of its Class 700 add on, The only gripe I have with this addon is the lack of the Class 700/1 thankfully the price has reflected that at an EXTREMELY cheap price of 16.99 which is fair. But overral this is the first high quality DTG product we had in a while. I hope the Class 700/1 comes soon and it can layer on BML, but im more than happy to make secnarios on secnario planner... Wait a minute.. Where's Yawwie

It this going to be its own product i.e. "all or nothing" deal or a bundle that filters out already owned products?

 

Just saw it was available on Steam purchased and looking forward to playing tonight after work.

 

Awesome picked up the "Southeastern Timetable Enhancement Bundle" as I had everything already minus the 700 only cost me £7.53. Great deal.

 

I'm too counting for such bundle to come up as I have bare SEHS route now only and all related DLCs on wishlist

 

Finally the Class 700/0 is available on Steam. Thanks for the extra generous discount, I could get used to such prices, keep it up.

Great, any deal is a good deal to me. Hope you enjoy!! I am loving the Class 700 already. Did a SEHS service yesterday and cannot remember which one (evening 1900-2000ish) but was full of 465's and other stock felt busy. I thought wait till the 700 is added and it will feel way busier!!

 

Can you not buy the BR Class 700 separately? I'm only seeing the SEHS super starter bundle for sale on the Steam site but I've already got that!!!!!!

 

Same here, and I'd like to say thanks for the intelligent pricing bundle that rewarded existing players, given previous criticism of some of these bundles, this one works for everyone.

i’ve refunded it now as i bought it at £13 and i already own everything apart from the rhtt so hopefully i can purchase the bundle option

Ok this is messed up:

Steam page advertises the bundle to cost $9.85, price confirmed in the bundle details (i already own BR HeavyvFreight, despite it saying it's in the cart), but then jumps to $15.64 when i go to checkout!!

I guess it never should have been advertised at the discount, but i feel like DTG should honor that price, right?

It seems to know on some level that i already own heavy freight???? Hopefully we can get a voucher for the difference from DTG.....

 

I paid £12.99 on the PS5. I assume that is the full price as there wasn't a discount icon showing

 

Try purchasing the bundle in a browser, perhaps? That's how I bought the bundle successfully at $9.85USD. I didn't look in Steam app itself, so not sure if this was a workaround fix, or if my Steam account was spared from this BR Heavy Freight bug.

 

I am a firm beliver in credit when it's due, and I'll tell you something a lot is due here. The unit seems to be wonderfully modeled and sounds very good. I am liking this recent trend of high quality locos/units being made for the game. Well done DTG!

 

This could have been a London Commuter DLC, all DTG had to do was have it replace the 387 in a new timetable.

Hopefully it's something they can do in future

Happy with the 700 overall. Takes me back to my rides on them in real life.

 

I have played for a few hours now and this is insane, Loving the work guys at dovetail. For once I am truly happy with a release since London Commuter released, I am giving this a 9/10 as truly amazing sounds and detail/physics but it looks too clean and does not represent the era as there are the Southeastern White class 375's yet this 700 has the modern logo and not the old one. But all in all its an amazing release.

Some TOCs only want to license their current branding (e.g. FGW/GWR)

 

Shame, It's okay that branding but it doesn't represent era as I say.

Also another thing is all TSW trains are way too clean especially these because if you go into a 700 toilet then look at the walls and door and think "Who vandalised these freaking trains so badly.." because then you see the filthy Londoners (If your a Londoner I am not trying to be rude to you) going down to Kent and having 'Fun' on the way.

 

I really appreciate the fact that there's a user manual to go along with this DLC.
