I know people don’t like polls at times but, I’m just after seeing the forum members views on this summer release. do you want to see TSW4 this year? Just wanna see a bundle like rush hour with the 3 routes? don’t want either ? (DTG continue as any other month with a single release when it comes) if you don’t like either of the options feel free to suggestion your alternative in the replies Note - voting not set to public
Would be nice to see a 3 route bundle, one of them being a UK route. Absolute NO for TSW4 from me though, let’s fix TSW3 first!
With the ?leaked TSW4 rumour flying around, both seem the most likley bet as TSW4 would come with 3 routes falling under a theme of some sort which is the norm for summer releases since TSW launched. We will just have to wait and see
Lets face it they aren't going to do nowt because that's just not how things roll. I don't actually care whether its a TSW4 or a bundle BUT what I do care about is that the British offering is something special as I still feel rather sour about their offering to us last year: only 40 miles of new route and no new pieces of rolling stock. All I can hope is DTG have bucked up their ideas and give us an offering that will make up for last years disappointment I faced.
I'm gonna go on a limb here to say, don't think there's a TSW4 this year. Yeah, I'm not believing any of the rumors and speculations that's been circling around here lately because if there was one, it would to have a feature that's gonna be better (or ironically worse) and a lot more than what TSW3 has offered already. Otherwise, why switch over to a new game for pretty much nearly a year now. But yes, I'm expecting like a route bundle for this summer like before, no matter what people would say.
I feel your pain brother, let’s hope JT’s route is a cracker and things improve from there with another classic uk diesel run in the 3 route bundle………ok, I’m dreaming a bit now
just to add, the poll is based entirely on what ‘you’ want to see not what ‘you’ think will happen. they may be thoughs who don’t want to see TSW4 type thing this year but also may have been put off by issues from rush hour to vote for that one, so I left in an alternative view decleration
Yes I do really feel JT's will be a real cracker. To join you in the clouds, imagine if it was York to Newcastle in the late 70s or early 80s with a Deltic, Valenta engined HST and layers from the 47s, 45s, 40s, 31s etc. OK I think I am dreaming more than a bit now!
Oh yes that was just my observation, I would like to see a bundle but no preference as to whether it is or isn't a new iteration.
Voted for Option 2 which is what it should be. However it’s looking likely it will be Option 1, IMHO.
I rather not have to repurchase the base game again to have access to future releases, but if that allows DTG to move on from the limitations being set by Gen8 consoles and gives us more complex routes then I would be all for that. IMO we should never have got TSW3, as there was no significant core update as such compared to the TSW2 upgrade. If the option is there for a free base game update, with new content paid for separately (similar to how TSC updates every year), I would much prefer that direction as opposed to having yet another iteration of TSW sitting in my library.
I don’t mind if is TSW4. There are many games that have yearly release so I don’t have a problem with it. If is 3 new routes and called TSW4 or 3 new routes in a bundle and both are the same price makes no difference to me.
Voted for Summer Bundle but wouldn’t be too surprised if TSW4 is the result. However if TSW4 does happen and it has 3 new routes to come with it. I suppose it wouldn’t be too bad… DTG are likely hiding something up their sleeve. It’s been too quiet since June. DLC’s were dropping left right and centre at the beginning of the year.
No matter what it is, it is definitely clear they’re working on something considering even themselves admitting how quiet they are (seen in the weeks livestreams schedule) and the fact there’s nothing on the roadmap from them besides a german loco. And tbh, as long as whatever it is comes with a solid UK route, ideally with the 700, it’ll be a purchase from me.
