Preferred Time Of Day For Timetable Services

just thought I’d create a thread to see what peoples preferences are for running services at a particular time of day, such as if theirs a particular time of day people usually try to go for when selecting a service in the timetable and the reason for that choice.

mine is usually just after (minutes) 8am, it’s bright enough at that time for it to be a day lit run and i always think it’s good to be up and about at such a time type thing. (Whole day ahead type thinking)

 

I like the 5am runs in the summer, 7am in the winter time

I used to be a morning person, don’t know why, just seemed to go for the morning commute crowd lol
But, recently I’ve been driving the Class 66 and I’m quite enjoying the night runs. I think that’s the beauty of TSW 3 you can enjoy runs virtually any time of the day or night.

 

I generally spawn on foot somewhere at the current time and date and let the timetable find something for me to do!

 

I generally go for like 17-19.00 runs around june to september, with some light clouds. When I feel wintery I'll usually play during an earlier time to still have some sunlight.

 

for me it really does depend, although i often try to do services similar to real time and real weather. Sometimes i’ll fancy an early morning out of depot and into service run, sometimes a late night rainy run or even just a casual midday summer run, all depending on my mood tbh

 

Cloudy summer evenings for me usually.

17:00 - 20:00 with mid cloud level.

 

I usually go for something that's about the same time as what it is in real life.

 

I'd often go for a super early morning (3:30-4 am start) if the timetable allows it, so that I can really see the cities come to life as rush hour approaches but occasionally I would play some afternoon or night shifts if I wanted a more dense traffic or a relaxed run

 

Anything other than night time, because the night time lighting is really bad.

I like first and last services

 

I like doing between 7-9am where it's going to be the busiest, especially on the BML
